Let the buyer beware
I had noticed that this section gets the most responses and had thought what about some old school history about this virus >
I had read that in 1980 two nurses had come down with hiv shortly after treeting a patient who had passed away now it is imposible to tell if they had gotten the virus from some were else or from the patient .
at the time they did not wear gloves or masks or know the illness was caused by a virus .
the patient had opertunistc infections that in all likely hood led to his cause of death being bleeding out . the nurses had to change blood soaked bandages with out wearing gloves and any safety protocals ? Seems to me unlimited viral load ( not known at the time ) and blood soaked bandages may have led to cross contamination to the nurses ? ( just a guess from a non medical layman ? )
the buyer beware seemed to me to be the attitude toward this illness in the begining in other words it was those who got infected fault for there own condition.
now everyone wants to blame somone else ? funny how the wheels of change turn the tables so drastically in such a short time /
I can only hope that some time soon the whels of change turn the tables to a cure and this entire mess can be a thing of the past .
I used to think at one time that the more people who have this virus the more likely the powers that be would try and find a cure ? I guess I was being optumistc and instead they started to crimilze transmition and stigmatize victums and then say stuff like we need to stop these eveil people instead of trying to help us they isolated and condemned us to lives of ilosation and solitude ?
there is another latin term I was trying to remmber maybe some other time it will come to me ?
Having sex with HIV is like going to bed with a gun ? It is my understanding that criminal charges are filled if death ocurse with in one years of the incodent for manslaughter > Exception with HIV > cause it could be prevented ? Even though going to bed with hiv is like going to bed with a gun with very slow bullets ? even though using this logic driving a car after so many have died during using them should be punishable by law as driving a weapon of mass distruction after all the distruction the use of autos has caused? how about this for next step criminal charges for anyone who has sex with another person in any shape or form ? maried or not hetero sexual or not even touching another person is illegal ? O sorry that one is illegal it falls under asault charges > anyone touching another person in any form can be read as assault ? aint it great to live in the land of the FREE ? We seem to be in this mind set that things are so much better here then over there any place in the world so brain washed to think this our way of life as we are told is the best ? Best government in the world if we look at the history of governments our s and others that is like saying the cleanest pig pen of all the pig pens ? so what it is still a PIG PEN ?
goverments should feer there people not the other way around were people fear the government how many out there fear the long arm of uncle sam reaching to far into there lives ?
In the eye ofthe beholder ? Life still holds beauti to me and I hope some day to not live in fear of what the next step our world will take >
untill then I hope this is just an example of how life has gone and not a warning of what the next step might be but a hope filled message for something better in our futures >
maybe we should outlaw plains, trains, boats and any movement what so ever and everyone stay still like the trees ? This way we can truly be safe ? We can be a world of tree people ?

I guess to much I had thought maybe somone might object and at least say that is not true ?
Or like so many other people I have heard tell after hearing this story had said the nurses should not have had sex with him cause that is as they understand it the only way to cetch this virus ?
One of my younger realtives came home from schoool some time ago over twenty something years ago to say a teacher at school had said the HIV virus had come from a special resort island were gay men went to have sex with gorillas ? > He was very shaken up that a public school teacher at a high school would say think or even try to pass such obserd info on >
Me I just bersed out laughing at how stuped a person chaged with educating young minds had some how thought that info would help his students in some way shape or form.
At the same time A teacher was told there services were no longer required and was told they had to give up teaching after the health services for the school had informed the school they were HIV + . The school had said there government isued license plate was there way of flaunting there sexuality because it had a SIX and a NINE in the randum numbers . If they were a person with any self respect they would not have put the random number plate on there car and would have asked for a new number ? They were told this kind of behavior was unacceptable? meanwhile another teacher was telling stories about gay men and beastiality and that was acceptable ?
I still like the news articals I have read over the years and just how fragil our existence on this planet truely is and how every day so many things can go wrong that are completely out of our control . yet here we are here I am trying to justify hiding myself away for so many years afraed of what other people might say or think or do that I just wnated to find some place to have some peace before my end of days that has lasted quite so many years more then I had expected ?
these articlaes show direct coreations to things we do in our lives that could have left the door wide open for illnesses like hIV to run streight int oour lives unchecked aand unencompered by any safe guards whatso ever > that is life sometimes some small minds trying to find reaon and cause and blame tha bad things only hapen to bad people even though they could just as easily been hit by some horific illness from some other way or they just wnated have a closed mind to feel safe from the horible things this world can do ? I do not know and maybe will never know ?

sorry my neighbors dog Rusty was just barking again > I was going to tell my shrink that I was being told what to do by my neighbors dog so I could get some new psych meds and spend some summor time being a vegatable again at least this way life would not get me down so much. then again like rust that dog never seems to sleep barking all the time and all ?
I guess like me we both yern to be more then house pets ?
IHope some lonely night while thinking about why the store was out of blue sneakers and you had to get a red pair or why the market only had one tipe of bread while you were realy in the mood for your own favorit you grown to like so much . These words writen here ofer you some comfort about life not always giveing you everything you want , but some times life gives you the strength to over come great adversities in your own life that no one else will ever notice or give you credit for . that people like me and those who write about there lives here have done . I hope this encourages others to do and be there best ?
to those out there reading this thank you for alowing me some place to share some stray randumn thoughts and vent my anguish and unanswered yernings to be more then what I am. I can only write this in conclusion >

I still say that skunk picture would have been a perfect icon for me ? cause I am a stinker ?
Or maybe I should just edit this by deleting everything above. then just say everything is great no complaints here the past fifty years or so have been nothing but smooth sailing and I have no idea why anyone would have a single bad thing to write or say about anything.

it would just be something everyone seems to want to hear not what trueely happend or still happening
