Best Brush Off Lines
« on: January 17, 2007, 10:36:21 pm »
Hello All

Seeing that we are all ages and come from all walks of life this was the best place to ask. What was the best brush off line you ever given or told someone? This is coming out of a talk at work and it got me curious to what might be the best line ever.

And it's not you it's me does not count.

oh Dear, I actually heard the " My Therapist doesnt think I should get involved with anyone right now,"  line once. Guess I was having a  bad hair night..

A drag Queen that I was chatting with once told me about a sure fire brushoff technique : take the person by the hand, look them in the eye and say. " Let me ask you something {insert name} , do you have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ ?"   although with my luck, Id get hit on by a priest.

Thomas......ok...I had ( past tense...he died)...a friend who really really liked those guys who were either just out of jail or prison ( with the tatoos to match) or who were drug dealers.  Why I cant imagine....except that he had enough money to as he put it " buy you or sell you". It was that money which did him in. He'd spend days at a time holed up with drugs and some street tough kids.

Well, I was dumped because (in his words) I had not accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour....

And I was told once...I just don't want to go out with you anymore...

After 3 dates I was told "Aries, that's not a very nice sign"

hmmm

The other one I remember, cos we became friends was "I'm all over the place...with everybody"

Plus "I can't shag you now I've just poured GHB in my eye"

"I think I just came in my jeans while we were dancing and the moment's over"

"I had your boyfriend last week and I found him aggressive" (well, was true, the dear man could seem like that)

"The object is to be a well patient, not a good patient"

Actually, disclosing my HIV status always seemed to do the trick quite nicely. If it didn't send them running, then I would just say that I don't have sex with negative guys.

I think "I'd love to, but I've got the shits and need to find a restroom... NOW!" would work nicely.  And on that note, gotta run!   ;)

I only use this one in extreme situations... like when two hours of gentle hints that "I'm not interested in you" hasn't worked.

I've gotten to use it a couple times on ugly morons... and it's mean... but extremely effective.

"Look buddy... you're making my stock plummet.  Why don't you get away from me so all the potential hot investors don't think I'm a junk bond?  OK?  Thanks."

LOL...  so 'baby brother' is in a perpetual state of sleep. :)  I don't think this would work so well for someone who is 50. LOL
