for the 11th consecutive day we have had rain. it's the longest wet spell in 15 years and there's more to come. it's depressing. I've got a cold, my throats sore, and a dry raspy cough. i'm over it.  >:(

At least you are not getting hail and snow storms... ;D

I've had to put winter coats on two of my babies..Jody (baby goat) and Hollie our baby Alpaca.

Stay warm and I hope your cold gets better soon.

You can send some of that rain down to Tasmania if you like, Steve

I think Melbourne could do with some too

See you soon - hopefully it will be dryer in May

Steven....

If it isn't one thing, it's another.  It seems like just the other day you were complaining about the drought  (OK...maybe that was 2 years ago but still, in the overall scheme of things,  it wasn't that long ago).  We're  now on our 2nd year of potential drought conditions (60% of average so far this year).

I'll take too much rain over not enough any day.

But I'm learning a lot from you.  For example.  You're down under.  I'm on top.  We keep experiencing the sames things over and over again, only at different times.  It's like when your turn is over, then it's time for this part of the world to share a little of the experience.  Call it "El Nino" or blame it on the ozone or climate change.  I think it's just the natural flow of things that's  been going on for eons.

Hmm, that sounds tempting.  But 11 days?  That's nothing, welcome to my winter. :o  We set a record in 2006, 29 days of rain in January:

Plus, I thought you guys down under needed the rain?

Well we do, but probably not in Central Sydney. It's needed more out here in Boolaboolabongbong and districts, though truth be told we've had about 7 days of continuous rain here.

Is that why your face looks so strained in your new avatar?  Or is that constipation?

Something like that. Dairrhoea for a few days, hacking up oyster sized balls of blood, and the fact that I was about to postpone the first date I've had in at least 5 years.

Oh yeah, 13 days and counting. I look even better today!!!

Hi Fearless! It should be the hot season here and the driest mont of the year in Thailand but we had rain for three days now which caught people unawares. Get well soon so you can get onthat date.

Hi Steve - I hope you're feeling better by mid May, or you might be forced in to a consultation with Drs Matty and Scud.
I hope all is well - go see a quack as soon as you can if you are unsure about what is happening.

See you in May

Hey Stephen,

Please get yourself checked if you're coughing up blood.

All of our rain came in the form of snow this year. We had lots.

I hope you start to feel better very soon and then have that well deserved date.

HUGS,

Mark
