Any info on strains of a bacterium called Staphylococcus aureus?

Hi folks and greetings from a very warm Irish coast.

Has anyone any experience with strains of a bacterium called Staphylococcus aureus? The reason i'm asking is because in the last few weeks my throat and neck area has developed pimples and spots and while they are not open wounds they are messy.

I understand that Staphylococcus aureus is a strain of the MRSA super bug and about 20-30% carry it up their nose all of the time and another 50% carry it occasionally. All I know about it is that It lives up your nose and is meant to be there. It has evolved with us and is part of our normal bacterial flora and it does not cause disease normally. For us with HIV, is it an OI? 

I understand that most strains can be treated with commonly used antibiotics but some strains have become resistant to certain antibiotics, such as MRSA which can no longer be treated with the penicillin-like antibiotic methicillin, from which it gets its name (methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus).

Any thoughts and any advice on the skin condition would be gr8.

S. Aureus is dead common. Some strains are antibiotic (methicillin) resistant, hence MRSA.
