I am the radish man! Atripla and skin issues
« on: March 12, 2010, 06:31:58 pm »
 Hi all,
I started Atripla last night and within an hour after taking it my skin started getting hot and sensitive. Today I am very red in the face and chest. I am curios about anyones experience with this so I may have a clue what to expect. My docs on vacation for a week but he did mention this may happen and is not a cause to stop the meds. Also the whites of my eyes have a slight yellow to them. Otherwise I feel good the drug has seemed to help my PCP recovery already at least today I have more energy and clarity of mind since I got sick.

Slight yellow of your eyes indicate that there's problem with your liver, you should contact the pharmacist as soon as possible.

Hey there - if ur getting yellowish eyes you should DEF go to the doctor - it means your liver function is not what it should be - drink plenty of water until then.
