I just saw this on my FB page from the Red Ribbon Army...

Broken link removed by admin

Last Comic Standing star Mike DeStefano passed away this Sunday at the age of 44 from a massive heart attack.  He was HIV-positive and contributed to POZ Mag.  I just wanted to share this with all you. Felt obligated to do so.

I am just so stunned and extremely saddened by this news.  :'(  I didn't even know him, not personally, but WOW, this is hitting me.  I suppose he left a mark on my heart & soul.

My condolences to his family and friends.  RIP Mike!  I'm thinking heaven needed a funny angel and he chose you.  Thank you for making me laugh and inspiring me to do so as often as possible.

I read that earlier on the poz home page and was sadden to hear the news, even though I didn't know of this guy.  It always makes me wonder whether something like this would have happened anyway regardless of HIV, or if HIV had a lot to do with it.  Anyway, it is sad to hear when another HIVer passes for any reason.
