Spring Cleaning IS Done
« on: April 01, 2007, 05:55:44 am »
I'm finally done with my spring cleaning. The painter is done, the flooring people are done and the plumber is done and god am I glad that they are all done. Nah, I take that back, I still have the washing service coming to wash my home this week, but at least they'll be staying outside. Now, all I have left is to deal with is the neighbors insurance company to get my car fixed where she backed into it.

You Lucky Dog! Haven't started Spring Cleaning yet. It's time. Hope the puppys are happy and getting plenty of kisses. Are they all sold?
Just curious; not wanting to acquire. Have our hands full with six rascals.

mjmel, I haven't put them up for sale as of yet. I won't list them until they've had their first shots.

budndallastx, let me tell you. I don't have the energy to do anything so I wasn't the one doing all the work. I had it all hired out. All I have to do is touch up the walls were the carpet scuffed it when they put down the carpet. If I would have felt better I would have done it all except for the carpet myself. I will admit, I cheated.

Glad to know there is someone else who contracts out their projects.  I took on my wood fence as a project but never could get it done but finally had someone do it and it turned out great.  Of course I took all the credit.

In any event, it would be cool to see the pics especially the before and after.

Whewwww,

I have been back and forth in the kitchen all day today, doing some spring cleaning. Removed everything from the upper and lower cabinets, wiped it all down and replaced almost everything !!  Trying to downsize a little.

Took apart the kitchen stove and gave the top and the bottom a good cleaning. To finish it off, I mopped and waxed the kithen and downstairs bathroom floor !! And cleaned, and lubricated the sliding doors going from the kitchen to the outside patio. I can see outside again !   8)

I don't have to go back to work until Wednesday....Took some PTO time. Got to start tomorrow on the outside patio. Getting pretty nasty out there.
