Overcoming the situation

Hello to all

About a month ago, I tested for hiv and found that I am infected. I am really in shock why I was infected!? I only did unprotected s.. once and penetrated half into my partner. she didn't tell me anything.
Because of the stigmata, I could not even question her why she did it to me!? she might wants to misuse my situation and do silly things.

First, I want to know how can I overcome the situation and then, how can I protest in the court, where(I think) there is no specific law about infecting people with hiv in my country.

Fortunately, I found this forum very useful except here are people that share their experience and feelings with each other, I feel that I am not alone and we are all together still hopeful to get rid of the disease.

I'm sorry to hear you tested positive.  From what you say, you think she knew she had HIV but didn't tell you?  If so, how do you know this?  I found I was positive almost exactly one year ago.  I believe I got 8 years ago.  I was always very careful.  I believe I got from a guy who was poking around the back door.  I thought he was just been playful.  I didn't think he would actually try to stick it in without my permission and without a condom. 

So, I guess we all have to take responsibility even if others didn't play fairly.  I suppose I should have never let his penis near my butt.  I'm wondering where you are from?  I noticed when you spelled the word sex, you only used the "s" and dashed out the "ex".  Do you have a hard time even saying the word sex or am I misreading?

I wish you the best.  I would suggest starting to monitor your health with HIV doctors and forget about legal action--unless you know for sure the woman is purposely having sex and not disclosing her HIV status.  Even then, I'm not sure how I feel about it.

has your status been confirmed by western blot?
had you routinely tested negative before you encounter with this woman?
when did you have unprotected sex with her?
how are you sure that even she knows about her poz status, if in fact it was her that infected you?

I did unprotected sex about 5months ago, the day of contracting with it I felt that she wants to tell me something but she regretted. beside, some minutes after I felt that something sit into my body. I did not thought about it anymore, till I did a routine blood test and I found that my Lymph values are abnormal. I referred to my last blood test and...
Before getting results of Eliza I did some searches on websites and found that I have all symptoms. I felt hopeless, so I was deciding to go into quarrels of post presidential election and do some crazy things, but after some extra site surfing I found that the life is not ended and I can go on like millions of people all around the world.
Fortunately, I found this forum and felt that I have so many friends here... Now, I'm thinking again to my long-term plans and I want again to go around the world, look for someone to share her life with me... but in a different and difficult way.
I did not get western blot results. Also, within the past year, I only slept with her. After those days, she quit and during one of phone calls, she talked in a phylosohpical way and told me indirectly that we may not be alive anymore...
After hearing all of my story, what would you recommend me!? unfortunately in IR.I after telling the status we may loose everything. Most of you, are living in US which this reality accepted.

As Max123 has asked, did you also take a Western blot test? Just a positive Eliza is not conclusive.

And where did you do your Eliza test, I mean it is a hospital, clinic? I have no idea where you're at but in order to start monitoring your health and receive treatment when it's the time you need to first get a medical confirmation that you're indeed HIV positive, meaning a Western blot. okay, i understand your concerns so let's pull it apart,simply and rationally.

firstly and as komnaes already advised, your hiv status is not confirmed positive...that is why the western blot is mandatory. elisa can yield false positive results. you should immediately proceed with having a wb performed before concluding that you're hiv positive.

many things can affect lymph values, inclusive of leukemia, lymphoma or something as simple as an infection or even a common cold. it certainly doesn't sound as though promiscuity is an issue with you. as far as philosophical talk about life, well the cold hard fact is that it is finite....maybe that's what she meant and you are reading too far into it.

at any rate, get yourself tested with a western blot and stay focused. either way, it's going to be okay.

an aside, there are posting rules on this site so you would be better off posting in the 'am i infected' section until you have been confirmed positive, which hopefully, is not the case. you will also get more site moderator coaching there. you can contact a moderator and ask them to change your post to that forum section.

Yes, I took western blot and in few days I will get results. I tested in the center for HIV medication in my country and they told me that they have the first and second line drug regimen and I hope that there would be no drug resistance so that I can go on for the next few years.
The personnel in the medication center said that because of embargo and some limitations, IR.I government can not take the newest medication and drugs. my concern is, if the drug regimen fails someday, how can I access to the newest drugs!?

From what you've told us so far, your positive ELISA result is most likely a false positive. If I'm reading your first post in this thread correctly, ONE TIME, in your entire life, you inserted your condomless penis half-way into a woman's vagina. This is highly unlikely to result in hiv infection. Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus and more so from a woman to a man. If I've read your posts correctly, I fully expect for your Western Blot result to be negative.

And wanting to prosecute this woman, if she and you both are indeed hiv positive, is not the way to go. Did she force you to enter her without a condom? I doubt it. Your own sexual health is your own responsibility.

Until you have had both a positive ELISA and  a positive Western Blot you cannot  be considered hiv positive.

that's good....how long ago was your western blot submitted? just relax for the next few days until you get your results and try not to jump ahead of yourself.
