Dear all,

I am a guy(straight) 26 years old. I never had any romantic relations or sexual encounters with anyone before until yesterday.

I was drunk (which i started a year ago), i met a prostitute who was very good looking and healthy. I dont know her HIV status.
Details of the act-
1. We were completely nude
2. We cuddled. no smooching
3. She was stroking my penis(without condom)
4. She kissed my nipples. i kissed her chest, belly and shoulders
5. I dont have any cuts on my body, niether did she
6. I didnt got erection... i dont know.. maybe i was quiet drunk
7. She gave me a bj with condom on...still no erection
8. I tried to have vaginal intercourse with her but i couldnt penetrate her becoz of no erection.(i had condom on)
10. Again with condom on she gave me a bj but still no erection.

Finally both of us got irritated and left.

And since morning with a heavy hangover i have been worried like hell... I was proud that i was a virgin... im not involved with anyone(romantically) and probably will only get married after 4-5 years. I am planning to quit drinking (im not an addict but it brings the bad side out) My only question is do i have HIV?

Hi Edd . You have no reason to worry because you had zero risk for HIV . the factors that lead to HIV infections are as follows .


Sharing IV drug needles immediately after use.
Unprotected anal and vaginal sex.
Mother to child during or shortly after birth
Very specific healthcare situations.

Nothing you did put you at risk for HIV and you do not need to test over this incident .
Now that you are sexually active you need to have regular health checkups for all stds including HIV testing at least one a year . Some Stds are much easer to catch than HIV and can linger without obvious symptoms for some time .

If you use condoms for vaginal and anal sex correctly and consistently you will avoid HIV .

It has been 8 days since the incident, and so far everything is quiet normal.. but yesterday onwards i have itching on some part of my chest, shoulders and belly after scrathing, those areas become red with a very minute bumb.... shall i get tested after 3 months for HIV.....

If your itchy chest worries you, go see a doctor about it. It's nothing to do with hiv.

You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection.
