Gale Storm, perky star of 1950s TV, dies at 87
‘My Little Margie’ made her one of early television’s biggest names
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31598348/ns/entertainment-television/
Not only Jackson, Ed McMahon, and Farrah, but I forgot David Carradine also died in June.
Note to celebrities, stay in bed today and tuesday.
Pull the cover over your head and talk to no one.
Don't change that light bulb.
Don't take that plane trip.
DON'T take a shower.
Stay away from the car.
And when you go out to get the news paper, wear only an all bight orange jump suit.
You know, the prison kind.
And if the phone rings, remember that one Barbara Stanwyck movie "Sorry, Wrong Number".
-
Pull the cover over your head and talk to no one.
You'll be to blame for tomorrow's rash of celebrity deaths by suffocation.

USA #1!

stretching the "celebrity death" meme.

Michael Jackson's death is now said to doom hopes for Iran insurgents.

Hey Randy,
You forgot the guy who wrote the Hokey Pokey, he died in June. His STAR may not have burned as brightly as Michael Jackson, he may not have won as many grammys or had Brooke Shields as a date during the awards show but... he made our grandparents happy, he made our parents happy and the free world will always do the Hokey Pokey ;D Have the best day

We ought to start a celebrity death poll.... Who will be next?
-
We ought to start a celebrity death poll.... Who will be next?
How about a celebrity death pool?
-
Can we define celebrity?
-
How about a celebrity death pool?
Davey I was trying to be original..... Howard Stern already has the celebrity death pool... I ain't got no money for no betting so how about just settling for a pole? ;) Or is that a poll? ;D
-
Jane Russell is really old.
Fidel Castro.
Queen Elizabeth.
Amazingly Jack laLanne is still alive, too!
I wish them all well, and when its time, its time. This thread is morbid.

This thread is morbid.
I bet, I can take it down a notch... I forgot the guys name but he attained celebrity by living rent free in O.J. and Nicole Brown Simpson's Brentwood estate. He was on Letterman, Leno and all the shows as a house guest in many celebrity homes during and after the trial. ;D Have the best day

Too far back for me to remember :) I would have been a year old when that show was on. I don't even think we had a television set in the house during that time. I think the first set we got was in 1956. We was po.

This will get me banned from every gym in America for saying this but, Cher is very old and she doesn't look a day over 25. I remember when I was little and pictures of Sonny and Cher were in the fan magazines at the salon where my mom got her hair done. She has to be over 70. In the supermarket check out line yesterday, there was an article on the front cover of her being mad over her daughters plastic surgery.
Who do you think had the most plastic surgery?
1. Cher
2. Frank Sinatra
3. Michael Jackson
;D Have the best day

For our macabre little celebrity death poll I was thinking of Kirk Douglas and Jerry Lewis, I believe Jerry dropped the faggot bomb word a while back but later retracted, so I guess I will make one of those strange sounds he used to make like Whaaaaaaaaaaa!!! I can't think of a third person to round out the circle. OK I'm a little bored, so shoot me- oh no I don't want to be the third !!!

Mikey, Of course. Not to say Cher hasn't had a few but I think her Cherokee genes might help her out. Isn't Frank Sinatra dead or are you speaking of Junior?
-
Jody those are some great picks there. I actually thought Kirk Douglas was dead a while back and then I see the fart on some awards show collecting an award for mumbling or something like shaky hand syndrome... or maybe it was for a life time achievement award, which will be thrown away when the kids clean out the house after he dies.
Anyhow.... I like longshots and my pick is Linsay Lohan for the next celebrity death poll. My wildcard pick (not quite a longshot) Elizabeth Taylor...

Oh my Queen,
I always forget there was 2 Frank Sinatras. But, my hair dresser claims to be in the know in regards to celebrity plastic surgeries and he sez... Frank Sinatra Dead has had little surgeries every year for so many years, he out numbers surgeries of both Cher and Michael Jackson ;D Have the best day

Hi Skeebo...I was also thinking about Elizabeth Taylor last night but she has been so good to the AIDS causes that I did not want to consider her and hope she keeps on truckin' as long as she can.
How about O.J. himself - no sense wasting prison food and while we are on the subject of prisoners Bernie Madoff would be a good client for the Grim Reaper although a little more suffering in a small, dark cell seems like at least a little justice for that one.

Dahlings...Also you know Zsa Zsa Gabor is well up into her 90's...Some time ago she was accused of making homophobic remarks and she said- 'Dahling I love zee gays, I have lotz of zee gay boys vorking for me you know dahling, I love zee gays".
Tell it to Merv I say !!!
I'm so bad :P
PUKE !!! ;D

Pina Bausch too - not that I’d expect her name to mean anything to you heathen bunch of fans of celebrity magazines :'(
-
I thought we were supposed to pick people we thought would drop, not people we want dead for some reason or another.
-
Poor Gale! :'( RIP
********
Nancy Reagan isn't looking good -- this may just be wishful thinking on my part. ::)
Neither Eunice Kennedy Shriver or brother Ted are looking good either -- but I wish them well! :)

I thought we were supposed to pick people we thought would drop, not people we want dead for some reason or another.
I would suggest we have 2 games, "Celebrity Death Poll" and "Celebrity Death Wishing Well."
This thread is morbid.
Morbid enough for you?

Don't be such a snob.

I'm listening to Dalai Lama audiobooks and don't wish death on anyone. Seems to make sense that what goes around comes around.
-
5 current U.S. Supreme Court Justices whose conservative, mean spirited agenda driven decisions continuously work against the needs of HIV+ folks, LGBT people, the poor, the disenfranchised, religious and racial minorities and others without alot of power, money and influcence and who therefore endanger so many lives daily:
John Roberts
Samuel Alito
Anthony Kennedy
Antonin Scalia
Clarence Thomas

Not to trivialize it or anything, but our time will come around, and I ain't need no Dali Lama to privy me to that info on some audiobook I haphazardly listen to on my ride to work. Marley gives me my peace and knowledge on my daily drive. But hey, mecch do you know if they got them audiobooks for far more interesting stuff like the Kama Sutra.... My mother in law bought us a Kama Sutra "PACK" and it makes it into some sort of game... I mean it actually has a spin dial with numbers and cards you can draw from, what the hell is that? I guess it is to be expected when your 57 year mother in law who has not been with a man in 10 years buys you an anniversary present.
I would suggest we have 2 games, "Celebrity Death Poll" and "Celebrity Death Wishing Well."

Basquo you have never failed to impress me, for some reason I think that is one hell of an idea!
BTW, I am throwing Tom Cruise in the wishing well...... Do I need a reason?
-
Don't be such a snob.
Don't knock it till you try it ;)
-
She's a bit obscure but city dwellers will know her and her obit had a link on the Time's front "page".
http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/06/30/pina-bausch-dies/?hpw
I hated all that repetition and used to walk out when I got bored. Don't have much modern dance vocabulary to keep me interested. More into Maurice Bejart silliness.
-
Pina Bausch too - not that I’d expect her name to mean anything to you heathen bunch of fans of celebrity magazines :'(
I guess I'm just too plebeian to appreciate her style -- I more of a Hermes Pan kinda guy. :D

Y'all lost.
It was Karl Malden.

No more pussy jokes. Mrs. Slocumbe (Mollie Sugden) has died.
-
But at 7 o'clock tonight, my pussy's expecting to see a friendly face.

You know, animals are very psychic. I mean, the least sign of danger and my pussy's hair stands on end.
-
My fave, and I don't know it verbatim, was I get a prize everytime I show my pussy.
-
They are for my pussy - do you know, it wins a prize every time I show it.
But if we are talking favourites, then it has to be: Look, I'm trying to get my pussy on the phone!
-
That's the one. Thanks.
-
And I am unanimous in THAT !!!
Jody (Mrs. Slocum) ;D
-
What shocked me most about reading that Mrs. Slocombe (Mollie Sugden) was that Capt. Peacock (Frank Thornton) was alive and well at 88. :D
-
Steve McNair was found dead yesterday with two bullets to the head..... I'm not so sure he dropped like a fly though..... it was probably more like a rock.
He was once a NFL quarterback who took the Tennessee Titans to the Superbowl.
-
I am glad my name doesn't start with an "M."
Metro crash (Washington, DC)
Ed McMahon
"Mrs. Majors" as she was at one time, Farrah
Michael
OK, so Mom said deaths come in threes.....
Billy Mays
Karl Malden
Steve McNair
...and let's throw in another transit crash...
The Monorail at Disney World last night. This stuff is overwhelming, sad and creepy.
God Bless all of those great people.
-
God Bless all of those great people.
I wonder if McNair's wife thinks he's all that great right now. It was him and his 20 yr old girlfriend who were found dead. He was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest, his girlfriend was only shot once in the head and the gun was underneath her body....... obviously McNair never watches that show snapped. I always thought this guy was so tough to.... I bet he was still standing even while dead, that's just how tough this guy was! ;)
-
I am glad my name doesn't start with an "M."
You may be on to something, Robert McNamara died today. Or it could be that it's now just on Mc's....... poor Ronald McDonald must be shaking in his boots right now.
Back to ole #9 though ,Steve McNair..... I heard his girlfriend hailed from Iran and had one of them there Al-Quieda(sp?)names ! Don't know why the Nashville police won't call on Rick Reilly to investigate this crap. ;)
-
I am glad my name doesn't start with an "M."
I thought I was the only one who didn't spell "MOONLIGHT1114" with an "M"
just had to put that out there :D

Mrs. Slocumbe (Mollie Sugden) has died.
I didnt know that. That is really a sad loss. I think of her often and
