Welcome to Do I Have HIV?

Welcome to the "Do I Have HIV?" POZ forum.

This special section of the POZ forum is for individuals who have concerns about whether or not they are HIV positive. Individuals are permitted to post up to three questions or responses in this forum.

Ongoing participation in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum (posting more than three questions or responses) requires a paid subscription, with secure payments made via PayPal.

A seven-day subscription is $9.99, a 30-day subscription is $14.99 and a 90-day subscription is $24.99.

Anyone who needs to post more than three messages in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum -- including past, present and future POZ Forums members -- will need to subscribe, with secure payments made via PayPal.

I been stressing for almost a month

Hey guy, about a month ago I had a one night stand with a lady whom I have no idea if she was positive or negative, at the time I had fresh broken skin on my scrotum, which she sucked on and then gave me unprotected oral sex, after that I had protected vaginal sex, I'm so scared that I have caught the disease, am I at risk is there any way that the sucking on the broken skin would put me at risk or is it possible that vaginal fluid could've gotten on my scrotum, I also have what I believe is oral thrush, I've had diarrhea for almost 2 weeks and some fatigue, anything would help thanks in advance

At no time did you have an exposure in the situations you've provided.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child

See your doctor if you are concerned about your symptoms, they have nothing to do with HIV.
