I'll go along with most of what the judge says.  It just scares me personally that intelligent people take Ron Paul seriously considering what a real libertarian policy would result in.

The Judge makes it sound like one huge conspiracy when in fact government , corporations and big money politics can do this all on its own outside of any willful intent to create a conspiracy .

Its going to be fun watching the tea party vote against its own ideology just to try and elect a republican this go round because they have no other choice . Its the nature of the beast .

Actually, being in the middle of reading Ron Paul's book "Liberty Defined: 50 Essential Issues that Affect Our Freedom" - I find Congressman Paul to be quite intelligent, articulate, and first and foremost - a Constitutionalist.

Reading his book and doing other research on him, he believes in following the Constitution and its intent. On the surface, many of his views might seem radical; however, if one overlays them with the foundations of the Constitution then many of his views make sense ----- of course, without doing this overlay and with having been drawn into the propaganda and socialization of current party beliefs (with no tie in to the Constitution - which is supposed to be the blueprint that all federal government business, laws,, etc. are supposed to be formed upon) then his responses to various issues seem quite unorthodox. This isn't necessarily because they are unorthodox, but actually reveals the extreme paradigm shift that has occurred over 200+ years (with the more radical shifts in paradigm, away from a Constitutionally-driven government having occurred in the past 30-40 years).  Just my honest opinion.

One has to ask oneself what constitutes real liberty.
