I have been HIV positive for almost ten years now and this is the first time I'm logging onto this site.   I am married and have had two children with my HIV pos. husband and both children are both negative.  Any suggestions on how to talk to my children (who are just toddlers right now) about our condition?  Should we wait?  Any HIV positive moms out there willing to offer suggestions? :)

I have no advice, but those who have will pop up shortly!
Just be prepared to answer questions on getting pregnant with HIV+ hubby!! lol You'll be most welcomed around here~

Again, no kids for me (they don't happen that way), but welcome to the boards.

I'd be very cautious, however, in discussing anything with the kids that they can't process or really comprehend. Don't deny, but don't overexplain, either. This little rule's always worked with my breeding friends  ;D

welcome to this warm (and sometimes weird ::)) extended family.

I cannot offer you advice about kids as I don't have any. I am sure your love for your kids will help you find the answers, and then there are quite a few moms here too.
