Dear Val

What an incredible video, it was beautiful in parts, very powerful and  disturbing on so many levels..I found myself looking away for much of it, and it left me in tears.

Oh, dear Jan!
That was not my intention, I swear.  Being an animal lover, I'm just caught in this interior fight right now.  In fact, I've been suffering for quite a long time now mainly because of the Norwegian and Japanese governments.  They announced, once again, that whale-hunting would continue ..."because of the proliferation of the species..." and some other crap e.g. research.  I just love whales in general,  and will never understand that a human being will watch for more than 45 minutes as one of the most beautiful, peaceful and intelligent beings  which has ever inhabited the planet dies in agony.  I cannot stand the idea that by doing so, we are silencing a being that sings one of the most enchanting and vibrating melodies the Universe has ever had the chance of listening to... So, I do what I can to prevent it.
For instance, I  haven't bought anything whatsoever that comes out from  one of these two countries and some other islands such as Iceland.  I will never, ever go to Norway or Japan.  It is not much what I do, but it is a start!
I'm sorry, once again, that my video brought tears to your eyes.  My main purpose in doing this is to make people aware of the daily horrors that go on in our own backyard, but for some reason or other we turn a blind eye to them.

Val

Dear val

Please don't apologize..I know exactly why you posted it..although disturbing I believe this is story has to be told and seen... what kind of world would we be living in if we refused to listen, or if we turned a blind eye to the incredible cruelly and suffering that goes on...it saddens me because knowing that no matter how hard we fight it will never end.

I have signed so many petitions against animal cruelly and just recently the whaling petition..but all to no avail...as long as I can lift a pen and write my name I won't stop...maybe one day someone will listen.

Don't ever apologize for caring Val.

Hugs
