worried about all the head i have had..
« on: November 30, 2010, 01:17:10 pm »
after 10 years and probably well over a hundred blow jobs from different guys,I have been thinking more and more if what I am doing will catch up with me..i love having my cock sucked and cant seem to stop when the urge comes on..but latley i have tried to control my urge, cause i keep thinking someday this will catch up with me,that i have probably just been lucky so far...and maybe i should stop while i am ahead of the game..I have sucked probably about a dozen or so without letting any cum in my mouth...although when i am getting sucked....all bets are off,if they want my load they get it. Do you think its just luck and I have dodged the bullet and i should stop doing what i love the most???? becuase using my hand is just not the same.

OK,

Getting an unprotected blow job is not a risk for HIV transmission. Giving unprotected head to males is a theoretical risk. But no one has ever presented a documented case of transmission from giving unprotected head.

No matter what they say in Living With HIV and/or I Just Tested Positive. There is no documented evidence.

If you choose to dispute this view, good for you. Get tested. Or don't. Whatever you do, please don't think we're going to debate this with you at any length. Please take the time to read our Welcome Thread and review our transmission lessons and posting guidelines.

:)

I like to think so. :)

Do you have another question or would you like to spend some more time experimenting with your fratbuddies butt-wise?

Remember so long as you use condoms and lube, Jesus won't know the difference.

Matty is one of the approved experts who answer HIV transmission queries in this forum. He is absolutely correct. You had no risk for HIV.

Mike,

There have been long-term studies of couples where one is positive and one is negative. In the couples who used condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, but no barrier for oral activities, not one of the negative partners became infected with hiv. Not one.

As Matty told you, if you cannot bring yourself to believe our risk assessment, go test. As long as you've not been having unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse you neglected to mention, you will collect a negative result. As a sexually active adult you should be testing at least once a year anyway.

Here's what you need to know in order to remain hiv negative:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Which is exactly why we base our assessment on first tiered peer-reviewed scientific studies. And the people responding to you are absolutely HIV experts, with credentials in science and in some cases, decades of experience in HIV counseling and transmission theory.

adult film star thinks he may have contracted hiv...via oral..but i keep seeing on this site, that oral is transmission is highly unlikely and just doesn't happen...what gives?  read on..

HIV-Positive Porn Actor Calls for Mandatory Condoms
an adult film performer known to gay audiences as Derrick Chambers, who tested positive for HIV in October, said he wants mandatory condom use in film production, better testing for STDs, and follow-up care for performers.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Burts performed in gay and straight porn films, where he was credited as Cameron Reid. He had tested negative as recently as September, and he believes he may have contracted the virus during a gay porn shoot in Florida, where the performers did not use condoms during oral sex scenes.

Mike, we have a rule here that all entries by members in this section are to be kept in the same original thread. I've merged your entries here and in the future use only this same thread. Thanks for your cooperation.

As for you concern about risk in terms of receiving oral, in the entire history of the epidemic there has never been a confirmed case of transmission to a guy via his having received oral sex. Claims can be made as they are from time to time but they never hold up under careful scrutiny. There are a number of reasons including someone's forgetfulness, their having been intoxicated or using a substance or uncomfortable with acknowledging something else they were doing sexually.

We're not interested in getting into a back and forth with you about this issue. Receiving oral is only theoretically a risk in the way that anything other than sex with your own hand is theoretically a risk. In the real world of HIV transmission doesn't happen to someone through their receiving oral. Period.

Nope. It is to remind us of the posting history of the person, so that this forum does not get hijacked by people with OCD or who have their own agendas. It is to put into perspective the information we give. You have asked about the same event over and over and over. You are EXACTLY the reason we do not spend hours and hours repeating ourselves to someone who clearly does not accept our risk assessment.

Seriously, do you think that we, mostly volunteer folks, mostly HIV POSITIVE volunteer folks, WANT people to seroconvert?  If you think that, then I would like a hit off what you are smoking.

By the by, the porn actor in question, it appears, recently pulled from the web a page advertising his escort services, which he claims he did not do, with barebacking for an additional fee.

He claims to have been monogamous to his wife outside the set, and only using condoms with everyone else. This has been proven not to be true. Moreover, the guy was known to use meth on his webcam shows. Meth use and unprotected bottoming go hand in hand, for reasons directly related to the drug.

I just don't get the hostility sometimes. This is a site primarily to provide support and information for people who are HIV positive. We provide the AM I INFECTED forum as - get this - a courtesy for those with transmission questions. We who provide risk assessment do so out of a desire to help the larger community. We take time from  our sometimes busy, sometimes sick lives to do so.

There is no conspiracy here. At least not on OUR end.

Mike, this Forum is not a chat board. It's not for gee I was thinking or wondering about kind of moment.

It's for people who may have had a risk and are looking for an evaluation in relation to that.

You don't have to like the answers or our format.

What I can tell is that we're not going to engage further in some kind of debate about whether receiving oral sex is a risk or not. It is not a risk whether you accept that or not.

If you come back here with more of the same you're going to find yourself getting a 28 day Time Out from the site.

From what you voiced right at the beginning of  your entries is what seems more to the point in your particular situation. And that is that you have some concern about acting impulsively in terms of getting your cock sucked. So if that really is problematic for you then I suggest you discuss your sexuality issue with a therapist or other professional or consider checking out a program that deals with sexual issues.
