Ciao,
Dennis

I voted.  It wouldn't let me vote twice, though (once for me and once for the wee one).  So, just add another to your tally for confirmed meet and greet.

edited to add that we leave 4wks from today - but who's counting?  LOL

Thom and I both voted (as individuals, once we remembered his login).  Come on everyone else, let's get on board and support Senor Dennis on his fantastic efforts to make AMG 08 a huge success.

See you soon, R&T

Thank you to everyone who voted in a timely manner.

I have informed the chef our group is going with the Mexican buffet.  Typically, they don't arrange buffets for groups less than 50 persons.  The chef has made an exception in our case.  That's why the below request requires your immediate attention.

To ensure there is enough food on the buffet, I need to know exactly how many people are going to be in attendance.  It has come to my attention there are people who have booked outside of the group.  Therefore, the rooming list I have does not give me a true reflection of attendance.

If you haven't posted your intent to be part of the meet and greet in this thread yet, please do so asap.  Even if you already voted.

Ciao,
Dennis

I've already voted (#1....:'() but this is let you know I will be in attendence.

to be honest, anyone who is part of the group, whether they've notified you or not, I'm sure will be at the Meet and Greet.  It's the biggest event of the season.  So if you're uncertain go with the number of rooms booked.

I voted and I'll be there.  We may want to send PM's to other people to make sure they follow up here.  I'm sure others who have already voted may not check back in here, thinking that they did what they need to do.

I'm more concerned about those who may have booked outside of the group allotment and remained silent in the forums.  I would hate to tell the chef to prepare food for 20 people and then have 25-30 show up.

Hey Dennis

I've already voted.

I suspect it's safe to go ahead and guarantee the room for the required minimum of 20 people. If for some bizare reason we don't hit that number then we may have to ask members to pay a couple of dollars extra to make up the difference.  But again I seriously(in fact I'm certain) doubt that is going to happen.

Regarding the issue of members who apparently have booked outside the group but who have not publically announced (can you tell us how many?  I'm dieing of curiosity.), well at some point we just have to move forward based upon the information we have.   Has the catering manager given you a deadline for the "final" count?  That seems to me to be when we have to truly worry about the actual number.  .

Thank you again for all of your hard work.  I'll see you in about 4 weeks buddy.

RAB   ;D

Ha!  I was just re-reading my post.  I'm surprised nobody caught on.  For those paying for the meet and greet in pesos it's only 497 pesos.  Nt 4900!  An easy way to convert is it's almost 10 mxn pesos to $1
