Good news and Bad news
« on: October 10, 2006, 11:08:17 pm »
Hi all I just feel I need to express my feelings a little or vent or whatever.  First the good news...I went to ID doctor today and cd4=1107 %50 vl undetectable.  Wow theses are some great numbers best I have had in years.  I can not be happier about this.

Now for the bad news.  I just got a phone call from my mom about an hour ago.  My aunt is in the hospital and is not expected to make it thru  night.  I wish I could have gone with my mom but my brother is taking her to the hospital.  My aunt lives about 4 hrs from me and I just couldn't do it tonight, due to various things.  I am usually always there for my mom and I wish I was there, but at least my brother is ther with her.  I am very upset with the news.  We knew she was battling cancer but we were unaware of how bad it was.  I think my uncle did not tell us everything cause he was either in denial or he wanted to protect her in some strange way.  I don't know.  guess i h=just needed to get this off my chest.  So I am sure there will be a funeral in the near future. well anyway thanks for letting me vent a Little.  Right now the bad news outweighs the good for now.  Rachel  >:(

Sorry to hear about your Aunt. I lost my father to cancer. I had been upset because everyone in family seem to have known but me. I was mad and upset at first but then later I undestood why I was the last to know. I was close to my father and he knew I would worry>Capricorns are emotional by nature. I hope that your Aunt can atleast be comfortable while she is still with you. Blessing to you...

Namaste,

On a brighter note, hon...WOW! How 'bout them CD4's!!!

Wishing only the best for you, Rachel.

Rachel this is the time to be close and be "near"... She is home now... Give her some loving and say some prayers....  Make the most out of the time that you both have.....   You just never know when things are going to unfold....

Love,
