The friends I usually spend new year's eve with are going to Vegas. Its a long story, but I couldn't go this time.

I hear there is a party at a friend's house. I don't know if I will go or not. They all smoke.

Oh Mary please. That didn't seem to bother you in a certain smoke-filled dungeon basement tanked on shots of tequila in the Zona Rosa when there were stippers to tip.
