Hello and thanks a lot for this outstanding forums which contains alot of information and solved HIV concerns and worries .
I am 20 year old circumsiced male from india . Here it is my Story which turned out worst period in my life
I went at a pathology laboratry on 4th june to test my blood glucose but i was out of town and returned at 15th june and immediately i went to collect my result but the biggest blunder happened at that time..!!! I asked that lab guy that you people are using
New needle only?? He say YES and he started to Explaining me then HE PUTS HIS HAND INTO BIO-HAZARD BIN AND PULLED OUT A USED INJECTION AND I CAN CLEARLY SEE BLOOD IN THAT INJECTION AND HE PULLED PUT AIRTIGHT CYLINDRICAL
WRAPPER FROM NEEDLE TIP OF THAT INJECTION AND IMMIDIATELY AFTER 5-6 SECONDS HE RUBBED MY ARM VEIN ARE WHERE I WAS POKED AT 4TH JUNE FOR BLOOD TEST AND I HAVE SOME MICROTEARS ARPUND THAT AREA TOO !!! I DINT SAW ANY BLOOD ON MY ARM BUT SOME LIQUID ( IS THIS HIV GERMS? ) THEN I BLOW SOME AIR FROM MY MOUTH TO THAT LIQUID DUE TO INFLAMMATION THEN I LEFT THE CLINIC AND REACHED HOME AFTER 10 MINUTES I WASHED MY ARM AREA ONLY ONCE WITH SOAP AND WATER ..!!
Q1) I BLOW SOME AIR TO THAT LIQUID ON MY ARM IS THIS CREATES A PRESSURE AND DO HIV GERMS MAY WENT INTO BLOOD STREAM THROUGH MY MICROTEARS ON SKIN DUE TO PRESSURE CREATED BY MY MOUTH THROUGH BLOWING AIR???
Q2) I WASHED MY ARM AREA AFTER 10-15 MINUTES IS THIS CARELESSNESS ??
Q3) AM I AT HIV RISK FROM THIS SCENARIO AND IF , THEN HOW MUCH ??
Q4) THE ARM AREA WHERE I HAD MY BLOOD DRAW CAN HEAL IN 10 DAYS AND IF NOT THEN THE GERMS SHOULD HAVE PASS THROUGH IT INTO MY BLOODSTREAM???
Q5) 4TH GENERATION DUO TEST IS VERY ACCURATE IN 7 DAYS ONLY AND AT 4 WEEKS ITS 98.89% ACCURATE??

Take your caps-lock off. Not only is a wall of text written in ALL CAPS difficult to read, but on the internet it's considered yelling. Please don't do it again.
Yes. It's just a story. Nothing you're worrying about was a risk for hiv infection.
1. No.
2. It doesn't matter. Hiv is not transmitted through the skin or through your so-called "microabrasions".
3. You are at NO risk for hiv infection.
4. Your needle puncture wound would have started healing in ten minutes, never mind ten days.
5. You do not need to test over this NO RISK incident.
Hiv is transmitted through unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse, through sharing drug injecting equipment and sometimes from mother to baby while in the womb or during birth. And that's IT.
Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies.
Once outside the body, small changes in temperature, and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect. This is why any blood in a syringe that's been lying around in a waste container isn't going to be any threat to you. The fluid was only rubbed on your skin, it wasn't injected into you.
When people share needles to inject drugs, it's a risk for hiv infection when they share them immediately. This is NOT what happened in your situation.
You have NOT had a risk.
Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.
To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.
Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.
Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Just want a reassurance...
Q1)If hiv+ Blood comes in contact with microabrasion of my skin can i get infected??
Q2)How much hiv+ blood required to infect someone through deep cut on skin ?
Q3)Blowing air from my mouth to hiv+ blood on my microabrasion creates enough pressure to allow them to enter my blood stream?
My partner wants to have sex with me and i dont want to pass any deadly virus in any way or anyhow ..

1. NO. Hiv can only infect a very few, very specific types of cells and these cells are not found on the surface of the skin or in microabrasions.
2. Pints. There would have to be blood all over and it would have to pretty much go directly from the other person's body into a DEEP cut on your body.
3. No way. Dream on.

Q)after getting liquid or hiv+ blood on my microabrasions i have washed my arm and microabrasion area after 15-20 MINUTES does it make some diffrence?

How many times do you have to be told that hiv is NOT transmitted through the skin or microabrasions? It doesn't matter whether or not you washed your skin afterwards.
You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection. End of story.

Hiv is a very fragile virus and its not easy to catch. And the scenario you describe is totally consider normal and HIV is not a concern ...!!
No if's and but's YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM HIV OCD AND IT SEEMS ITS GOING OOC ( OUT OF CONTROL ) .
On a personal note, please stop worrying and moveon because noone here to help with your mental problems.

I have told you that my wound was 10 days old but it was ONLY ONE DAY old :-( .
I was scared that if i told you one day old wound then you will tell me that it is a risk but i was stupid and lied to you :-(
Is one day old wound a risk ?
I went for hiv testing .. For peace of mind here are my results..
31 days after exposure HIV CMIA COMBO AB/AG TEST ----------- NEGATIVE.
41 days tested with TRIDOT AND ELISA -------------- NEGATIVE.
Shall i move on ? Or should i retest at 3 months for peace of my mind ?

NO RISK.
You are conclusively hiv negative and you do not need further testing. You can continue to test if you want, but you're only going to collect more negative results.
