It is insane what they have in mind to have Social Security Disability do. Change the CD4s to 50 yes 50 before you can get disibality. What is up with that when All the reputable ID DR'S know that people start getting sick at 200 and less Cd4s. I guess the are wanting to kill us before we can get our disability back.
I am not just saying this either, if you read one of the most recent AIDSMEDS documents you would have seen the whole article on what they are wanting to change SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY to do. Take a look at it the article on changing social security disability.
It is time you write your President and Senator's and Congressman in your area on Congress.org I am hoping people will react to this and not be shy about it. Of course be nice and courteous to the leaders of this country because they are the ones who can get things changed if they can and want to. So, write an informed and proper letter to them stating that this will put people out of housing and almost if not kill them before they can get or get back what they deserve on Disability.
Myself I will lose my Hud Hopwa housing because SSDI is all I get for income and I have wasting and severe fatigue from being sick with AIDS. How many others out there are in my boat,a lot I know because I have seen the statistics. So lets get together and do something about it before it is to late. Write Congress.org and any other place you may know of to get this not to happen to us we payed our taxes so we deserve the benefits without them changing on us to where we have none at all. Thank you for reading this and please help us help our selves.

We definitely have to keep an eye on what is going on - as always.
I think what Tim Horn said regarding changes not happening overnight also needs to be weighed into our response, observations, and call to activism regarding this topic.
