Merry Christmas from Fang
« on: December 21, 2006, 06:14:38 pm »
Fang sends out Yuletide greetings to all her fellow AIDSmeds pets.

May our beloved animals continue to bless our lives richly in the New Year.

Cats make good slippers!!!

LIFE is not a race to the grave with the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty and well-preserved body, but, rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--WOW! WHAT A
RIDE!!!

Fang makes a terrible slipper.   When she gets underfoot (about a dozen times a day) she squeals and yowls when I step on her.....but she never learns.

Poor thing, she's pretty, but not too smart..... ;)

There is no way Lucifer would let me put anything on him but he was eyeing Fang, I think he might be interested in unwrapping that kitty!

Well, I got quite a 'jolt' today.....someone upstairs was watching out for us I guess.   A friend dropped by to bring me a Christmas gift (DVD of "Gone With the Wind" - yea!) and I didn't realize it but when he left the cat slipped out the door.   Now, Fang is a 100% indoor girl.  She is de-clawed on her front feet.
I wondered why she wasn't 'helping' me put clean sheets on the bed, one of her favorite games..... I did not miss her until I started to leave the apartment, 2 hours later.   She was standing right outside my front door.

I had a 'mini breakdown' and cried for awhile, when I think of what might have happened to her.   She's safe, and that's my Christmas miracle.

Alan -

It is an awful feeling when a pet goes missing - almost like a small child I would think.  I know when it's happened to me I was a wreck until the 4 legged critter was back home to boss me around.

Glad she was smart enough and loved enough to know she has a great thing going with you.

Happy Christmas and Merry New Years -

WHEW! OK, that's our Christmas miracle story for today, Alan.

She maybe clawless, but Fang is far from clueless. She knows where her papa lives and a good thing when she has it.

Hope you and your noir furball curl up together for a sweet holiday, Bama.

Cheers,
Andy Velez
