only hand job but obvious hiv syndrome
« on: July 11, 2006, 01:34:13 am »
I received a hand jop 60 days ago but there is obvious ARS
prostitute's  hand and towel might be contaminated by former customer's semen and it touched my penishere is my history(I know that I am severe hypochondriasis)

*10 days before possible exposure: severe headache and nausea
*D-day: to relieve headache, I received handjop. no other contact.
But there is possibility that her hand and towel may be contaminated by former male's semen
*4 days after exposure: urethral pain and testis pain
->urine ahti-hiv, VDRL, brain MRI test was normal. doctor's presumptive DX was epididymitis

*7 days after exposure: normal BT(but I feel fever).
for prophylactic effect doctor prescribe quinolone for 3day.

*10 day : urine test, general CBC was normal-> quit quinolone,
still normal BT(but I feel recurrent fever), rash in left abdomen, join pain

*10-60 days after exposure: sporadic rash all over the body, not severe,
( each rash contine 1week and disapper and a brown pigment)
            stiffness in finger(but normal function)

*14-60 days after exposure: peripheral neropathy
electirc shock like, tingling pain in all over the body.
14 day :pain started all over the body
25 day :pain moved to  finger ,toe sole
40 day : pain spread to upper way(arm, leg, face)

*14-28 days after exposure: sore throat, two doctor diagnose ulcerative stomatitis and normal respectively.

* 30 days after exposure: worsend acne( 1week doxycycline cured it)
athlete's foot for 2week(disappeared withou treatment)
diarrhea, constipation, bloat. mild psoriasis in elbow

* 50 day: normal blood, urine test(CBC, ALT AST etc,anti-HIV is not included), normal ultro sono
          spider vein in leg increased.

normal sign: BT, weight, no nighy sweat, well sleep.

I fear that i have an all ARS.
I heard that peripheral neropathy is and definitive diagnosis og HIV. I wish peripheral neiropathy was caused by quinolone
thank u

Foodcj,

The incident you describe is absolutely no risk whatsoever for hiv infection.  Whatever is going on with your body, it isn't related to hiv.

food,

Not one person in the entire history of this pandemic has ever become infected with hiv through a handjob and you are not going to be the first. No Way.

You need to see your doctor about your physical problems because whatever is causing them, it is not hiv.

Handjobs do NOT transmit hiv.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

"Obvious ARS"? There is no such thing.

Neither the presence nor the absence of symptoms will ever tell you anything accurately about your HIV status. If you have had a genuinely risky incident such as unprotected intercourse, then a test at 13 weeks is indicated.

In your case, all of your "symptoms" notwithstanding, you were not even remotely at risk and no testing is necessary.

Hypochondriasis is a whole other matter. Do yourself a big favor and get some professional help with that unless you're willing to spend a great deal of your life engaged in unnecessary worry and anxiety.

Cheers,
Andy Velez

Food,

You can read about Andy Velez in the About Us page. You can read about me in my blog. Many, but not all, of us who answer questions in this forum are living with hiv and have a vested interest in transmission issues. Some of us are in serodiscordant relationships - that means one partner is positive and one is negative - and we know how to have fulfilling sex lives and protect the negative partner's status at the same time. We don't just talk the talk, we walk the walk too - every day of our lives.

But the bottom line here is that all the answers you read in this forum are based on up-to-date information as published in first-tier, peer-reviewed current issues of scientific/medical journals. You don't get myth or guesswork here, you get the real deal as supported by quantifiable science.
