States are trying to make being gay a criminal offence
« on: July 07, 2010, 11:30:14 pm »
Did you all know of what is happening States are trying to make being Homesexual a crime. We need to wake up again and save ourselves from the government. I can bet the Babptist commity has something to do with this. because I read an insert in one of my uncles Texas commity writings about having this done. He is a Babptist Preacher by the way. What would Jesus say to them now.
1997 is when I found out, being deathly ill. I had to go to the hospital due to extreme headache and fever. I fell coma like,  two months later weighing 95 pounds and in extreme pain and awoke to knowledge of Pancreatis, Cryptococcal Meningitis, Thrush,Severe Diarea,  Wasting, PCP pneumonia. No eating, only through tpn. Very sick, I was lucky I had good insurance with the company I worked for. I was in the hospital for three months that time.

I have become resistant to many nukes and non nukes, Now on Reyataz, , Combivir. Working well for me not too many side effects.  I have the wasting syndrome, Fatigue  . Hard to deal with but believe it or not I have been through worse. Three Pulmonary Embolism's in my life. 2012 520 t's <20 V load

WWJS? Jesus would probably say STFU.

And BTW, Texas is not "the States". Those Texans are a law unto themselves.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

I'm a little confused how this topic falls under AIDS activism.  As for people trying to make people being gay illegal they can try all the want but it ain't gonna happen.

if the OP is talking about the "Texas Repubs Platform About Gays and HIV" (which already has it's own thread  http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=33407.0) then it's not even a law, much less "states" trying to make homosexuality illegal. It's just one political party in one state making some waves. ;)

having been brought up Baptist in the South, I wouldn't doubt the fundamentalists are behind this nonsense; but rather than rail against the "states" and trying "to save ourselves", mew, I would suggest you just go protest outside the texas republican headquarters in Dallas ;) - they are the only crazy ones advocating making being queer a crime.

I know this is the usual cliche but I still cannot figure out why they always just zero in on homosexuality? There are so many way more exciting and bigger sins to pick from but yet they pick on the easiest and least harmful one. Guess it's their inner bullies coming out. LOL.

It's a rallying flag.  They can attack homosexuals without much repercussion from a large group of people.  If they put on their ticket that they want to make being Greek illegal people would see them for the absolute morons they are.

Homosexual sex is disgusting and unclean, largely involving fecal matter, fists and gerbils.  Locking you all up would be an act of kindness.  The Bible clearly states you should all be stoned to death.

Hasn't been all that long ago that homosexuality was listed as a mental illness. That fight is history.

And, if you're a gay who worked on the Sabbath and talked back to your parents, they use boulders I think.

They will always pick on the most vulnerable people. Whether it's jews, black, women, or gays.
