according to a new USAToday article, for all the bible thumping that goes on in the US, we fail at reiligion (as well as history in general, I'm sure)

Gosh, how silly can they be.  I thought it was common knowledge that Sodom was the former ruler of Iraq and Gomorrah was one of the giant monsters that Godzilla protected Japan from.

Australia already has the earned the title of Stupid Country of the Month. twofires, don't be trying to upstage them using youth of Americans.

Kidding aside, Sodom and Gomorrah may not be so important; maybe the schools stopped teaching it. The 10 Commandments are religious based too. Keep in mind the separation of Church & State; now tell me where they are suppose to learn this stuff. These days the religious stuff is filtered out of classrooms, isn't it? Then you want to call them stupid for not knowing what they haven't been taught.  ???

I bet most of today's youth know of Minas Tirith.  ;)

I need an interpeter. So sorry, just not understanding initials.

...WMD ??? Clould it be, the initials WDM represent wavelength division multiplexing?

I'm not really surprised. Not everyone in the US is Christian or, even if they are, attends church regularly. I bet most people can't name their state senators, which is much more relevant. One of my coworkers, who is a nurse, didn't know where South America was and couldn't point out Australia on a map.

That would be WDM.

WMD stands for "Weapon=Matty the Damned"  And currently only Australia has this capability.  Its the only reason we havent invaded them yet.

The Aussie Bloke: Do not let the intensity or meanness of this weaponry fool you. This entity has on occasion shown a sense of restraint, reasoning processes and an occasional expression of compassion.  Entity may have a warm beating heart. Just saying.....

It doesn't have a warm beating heart.  And he will be the first to tell us that!

But they have been prone to misfires as well as occasionally yielding a bigger BLAST than is necessary!
