I had my bloods taken last Thursday and partial results came through this morning. According to the lab my CD4 count has dropped from 560 to 440. Looks like some techo had a few too many sniffs of the acetone so we'll have to do a repeat draw (Grrrr)

Just a follow on for this.......the HIV team have have attributed the CD4 count drop to the the subsequent diagnosis for gonorrhea, so no problems and I wont have to go through another set of bloods!

A drop in your absolute count from 560 to 440 is meaningless.
Moreover, what evidence does your HIV team have to demonstrate that gono would affect your CD4 count?

I don't recall my cd4 dropping when I caught the Big-G from that major porn star in 1998. I'd post a picture of him but I would be banned. Starred in "Raw Strokes"...

Personally I just mentally hold my hands over ears and sing twinkle twinkle little star to myself when they're talking about most of this shit. Naive, definitely, stupid, probably, but we all have our own coping mechanisms.

Oh, it get's worse. I've been persuaded to visit a Reiki "Healer", appointment today....I have a Bachelor degree's in Science and Nursing and I'm dabbling in alternative shit. :-[
Personally I think I need to start dropping some vitamin E's, but the stuff currently available around Sydney is shit (or so I'm told).
