Very Weird Looking Mucus in Stool

For about two and a half months I have noticed this white stringy type stuff in 85% of my stools I would say. It doesn't affect me in any way, but I am wondering if this is related to HIV in anyway.  Also, about a month and a half ago I was experiencing yellow and sweet smelling oily mucus on my toilet paper.  This stopped after about two weeks. The last thing I wanted to mention is that about a week and a half ago, I noticed a very mild sore throat.  I looked at the back of my throat and saw what appeared to look like a few small red bumps.  The very mild sore throat went away in 3 days, but the bumps still remain and I can feel them just a little bit.  I am very confused and worried, but all the same haven't really been affected all that physically by any of these things.  I really just want to get some ideas and expertise from some people to maybe help me out here.  I am an 18 year old male and I had unprotected sex with another male.  One last thing I wanted to mention is that I could not find ANY pictures similar to what the stuff in my stools looks like.  Would it be okay to post a picture of that on here?  I honestly have found 0 pictures that looked even remotely similar.

The only way to know if you have HIV is to test at the appropriate time . You didn't say what the risk was but if you engaged in unprotected anal sex then it was a risk and you must test . You can test at 6 weeks past any unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse and again at 3 months to confirm the results .
 
We do not discuss symptoms because they are not specific to HIV and could be from a wide range of conditions other than HIV but I urge you to get tested and have a full STD panel done in light of the fact that you are having a sweet smelling discharge from your rectum ... you really need to get it checked out , especially if you had unprotected anal sex . The only way to know is for you to test for ALL std's .

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Your stools have nothing - absolutely nothing - to do with HIV seroconversion. You have had a risk and you need to test at the three month mark.

Your test in a week (a rapid test is sufficient) will give you the HIV answer you need, though I always recommend a full STD panel twice a year for people having sex outside a mutually monogamous relationship.  There are other STDs than HIV out there, and syphilis is fatal if not treated.
