Harnessing the power of the immune system to break through cancer-mediated immunosuppression

http://www.sandiegomillionaire.com/immunecancer.html

This is an outline of how, using dozen of already available immune system modulators science could using the bodies own immune system break thru the little chemical shell that the cancer hides in..

this got me to thinking that hiv is kind of exactly like that, it is like cancer of the individual CD4 cells kind of a distributed or micronized or chopped up tumor so i thought that these advanced concepts may be applicable, frankly i have no idea why this isnt the blue print today for hiv and cancer treatment or at least research (i guess cause bush and repugnate republicans spend all the money on war, not much left)

recently we have learned the HIV specific CD8 cells are deactivated by a yet unknown molecule possibly a protein like nef

Here is my attempt to create a theoretical document based on cancer immune modulation for HIV disease...

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION THIS IS what treatment will look like in twenty years FOR HIV AND IT IS COULD BE complex and involve multiple immune modulation and it could be ready in ten years   and we need to be doing aggreesive activism in larger scale that we did in 80s to get the money and move the govt. to put billions more into this...

there are dozens of immune modulators recommended above,

also take a look at the cd8 story   http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=7475.0
but this is an early immune modulation hope but the meat of this post are the first two links above...

I think several researchers are looking into PD1 for a variety of diseases.
NB. Any advice about HIV is given in addition to your own medical advice and not intended to replace it. You should never make clinical decisions based on what anyone says on the internet but rather check with your ID doctor first. Discussions from the internet are just that - Discussions. They may give you food for thought, but they should not direct you to do anything but fuel discussion.
