oral sex and symptoms

First of all, ı am sorry for my english. ı am writing from Turkey. My story is unprotected oral sex with thai girls on 3rd and 7th of may 2008. 10 days after this sex, ı have some symptoms like fever itch etc. the worst one was diarrhea. it took 1 week very strongly, and ı lost weight. after that diarrhea, ı couldn't eat the food or meals as I  used to eat before.  because my diarrhea starts again. ı don't want tell u all symptoms ı live. Because ı live every one of them except fever. ı know u don't argue symptoms here. but ı would like to  tell about my swollen lymph especially at crotch and neck. they are painful. they get swollen one month after ı had unprotected oral sex. we discuss this issues in Turkish forums too. at the beginning, they think ı dont need a test because of ı got just oral sex, then after a month when ı told them about my lymph, people start to have suspicion and advice to test. I will test anyway, just a month left to full 13 weeks eliza test. But my question is, some poz people told me that, lymph cant get swollen after a month. at least 6 month left after u get infected. is it true?

Work, here's the deal as far as oral sex. In the entire epidemic's history of more than 20 years, not one single man has ever been confirmed to have become infected from his receiving oral sex. Not one. So you can forget about any risk from that.

As far as giving oral is concerned, from time to time we get a report of someone claiming to have become infected in that manner. But when subjected to scientific scrutiny those reports don't hold up. I've never known of a confirmed case of transmission from a guy giving oral to a woman. Not even if she was having her period at the time.

Much more to the point are the longterm studies of sero-discordant couples, both gay and straight. They had lots of mutual unprotected oral and only protected vaginal & anal sex. The results have been that not one sero-negative partner has become infected.

In terms of the symptoms you are reporting, you should be discussing them with your doctor. Leave your lymph nodes alone. By fingering, squeezing or pressuring them you can create a real problem. They are very sensitive. They can become swollen for all sorts of non-HIV reasons. None of the symptoms you are presenting are in anyway HIV specific. That's not surprising to me since I don't see that you have had any real risk. Based on what you have reported I certainly expect you will test negative when you take the ELISA test.

Good luck to you in having your doctor find out what the real problem is, which is not HIV.

thank u andy for your time. it was cunnilingus what ı lived in Thailand. ı am not very stressful actually. poz people in Turkey said the same thing to me too, no risk. But ı wonder when  does lymph start to get swollen? it is also discussing in Turkish forum too. ı cant go doctors because ı have to guaranteed ı am not hiv + by test. Then ı will check all my body. ı had lived many things in last 2 months like headache, swollen lymph, diarrhea, sore throats and pink spots on my body. So that ı have to wait one more month then hopefully get a negative and check all this things by doctor. but lymph at crotch is the most important ones. if it is not hiv, ı have another serious health problem. so can u tell me if there is a  time period of swollen lymph. thank u again for your attention

Work, it's understandable that you're concerned about your symptoms. But nothing you have reported causes me to think your problem has anything to do with HIV. Leave your lymph nodes alone. Keep your hands off of them. Whatever is going on is something you need to sort out with a doctor. Unfortunately, we can't do that for you here.

And I absolutely expect you to test negative based on what you have reported.
