Worried about infection due to swallow from TS
« on: October 23, 2011, 12:01:02 am »
Hi,
1st of all, i really appreciate about the forum and help you guys are providing-its a great help.

i have done lot of reading on my worry-but still not satisfied and hence i am posting.

last week i slept with a TS. she seemed pretty healthy. i accidentally swallowed her, before the swallow-i was involved in rimming (me to her, which gave me a tongue ache in the morning). sex was protected. this is the 1st time i swallowed and i am worried for me and the my family. i emailed her to know if she is safe-she assured me she is 100% safe.

few days later-like after 2-3days, i had mild soar throat and mild fever-very mild. based on the reading-this are some of the symptoms hiv+ can have. no dieherea or body ache.

i am planning to get myself checked in 4-6wks, however, for time being i wanted your expertise-if i need to worry about and should avoid sleeping with others. can sleep at night and its affecting my work.

Please, reply-i appreciate all your help.

regards

The only documented risks for HIV transmission are unprotected anal and vaginal sex, IV needle sharing, and on occasion, mother to child transmission.

"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

Your mouth contains over a dozen proteins and enzymes which very effectively prevent the transmission of viable HIV. You are worrying needlessly. Really.

3 months is the standard testing point for a conclusive result when there is a real risk. Which I hasten to say you did not have.
