Title: Vaporizers
Post by: jkinatl2 on February 03, 2012, 03:04:33 am
Does anyone have any recommendations? Web sites? My lung capacity and quality makes smoking herbal remedies problematic sometimes. PCP leaves a mark or two.

I'm posting this here because I am not looking for a debate. I was just wondering if anyone had a recommendation.

Thoughts?

(US/Georgia BTW)

Have used them though don't own one.

On each occurrence must confess to rather over doing it as the experience to a strong tobacco smoker as myself was confusing, I had just inhaled air or so it i seemed until I tried to stand or remember that uniflying theory.

Fully intend to buy one when I am eligible for hospice care again.
All in all I thought they where great.

:o  Yeah, no one eligible to comment here would ever express their debatable views.  ;)  I'm fortunate that lung issues are one thing I've never had issues with....yet.

I know that I'm able to smoke herbal remedies more easily after a couple of beverages.

You can get an Iolite Vaporizer shipped to you.  I've heard they were good, but I am not really aware what makes a good one or a bad one myself.  I also understand they can be a bit pricey.

I just noticed what forum this is....  I'm really sorry, it won't ever happen again.

We Ohio River folk had our own version.  I grew up swimming every summer day in that river.  Probably where I also picked up the cryptococcal fungus.

i have experience here, but i realize this is the LTS board, possibly the thread would be better placed in off topic? more than willing to take a spanking. please  ;)

vapor brothers makes a good unit, i would also get the hydrator accessory if you have respiratory problems. you're looking at $200 easy for a decent vape. not small change.

hookah hookup, inserection, and starship are all decent local head shops. i would order online though, the markup at the shops is obscene.

theyer is absolutely right, take it easy on your consumption, it is easy to vape to much and end up "higher" than you planned.

cook with the leftovers too.

You are correct. I will ask mods to move this thread.

Thanks for all the advice! And you are correct, the markup at local brick and mortar stores is insane.

I like the Extreme-Q by arizer.  www.arizer.com

It has a digital temperature control for accuraracy which is important when vaporizing. Don't want it too hot or you're back to combustion. It also has a remote control....you know in case you've vaped too much and can't get off the couch but feel like you need one more hit :).

Will probably run about $300.

You can look at fuckcombustion.com for more recommendations, reviews and recipes for cooking with stuff that's already been "vaped"

Awesome! Thanks everyone for helping! I am still saving up a bit for a decent one - since my learning curve is obviously so high. (get it?)

I will let you guys know in a couple of weeks where I went with all this.
