Hi All
« on: January 01, 2014, 09:18:52 am »
Hi guys. Have been lurking on here after testing positive using oraquick in early November and thought I'd say hello. Got some of my numbers back yesterday:  cd4 788 and vl 4400. I will have other numbers after next appointment in two weeks. I must say I have enjoyed reading the posts here and look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi watl,

This has been a great place for me since my initial diagnosis.  I was using google and reading all kinds of crazy things on other websites, but the people here are fantastic, caring and very helpful.

I think you are in Atlanta also, so we can compare doctors and resources available to us.  That would be very helpful, as we are very new to the area.

Take Care!

Thanks for the welcome. I was beginning to wonder if anyone would respond to what I had though was a friendly hello ;).  I am as new to this as you but the one thing I have quickly learned is to look for the date of whatever is written before reading it. If it's 2009 or earlier I don't read it. Hope that helps.
