Getting ready to watch the Tonys and  was going to ask who all is watching, then it was like duh, most of you. :)

Good news for The Normal Heart.  Did Larry Kramer use the occasion to throw another bitch slap at Barbra?

Was delighted to see that War Horse won so many awards.  I keep saying I'm going to go, but every time I look they are sold out.

Good to see Mark Rylance win for Jerusalem.  Makes up for that horrendous performance in La Bete.

Catherine Zeta Jones seems to have picked herself up.  Suppose she'll just have to resign herself to the fact her beau is going to be around for a very long time.

I absolutely loved the show!  All the winners were aligned with my ideas.  I was glad to see Normal Heart, The Book Of Mormon and War Horse win so many awards.  To see the cast of Priscilla performing "It's Raining Men" was terrific.  I recently purchased the CD from the production and I love every track off of it.

It's just so freaking weird to think the creative stoners behind Southpark took home best musical.  I love Tray and Matt and always knew there was genius behind the personas.

I bought the cast recording from Book of Mormon for 3 bucks on amazon last night.  Let's just say it's not your typical musical that's for damn sure.

Edit:  I should say it SOUNDS like a normal musical, but the songs are just as irreverent as the South Park movie's music however they are a lot more explicit in parts.  It also exposes a lot of the craziness of the mormon religion's beliefs.

I thought that was one of the best Tony Awards shows in ages--actually, one of the best awards shows period.

Watch, before CBS yanks these off YouTube, the (controversial) opening number with host Neil Patrick Harris (and poor Brooke Shields):

You have to watch that more than once to get all the jokes.

And this amazing duet with Neil and Hugh Jackman ("If I'm the bottom, then you're the top" indeed)":

Wow.  Mr. Harris is so talented, and he just gets better and better.  I have no doubt he'll win another Emmy award for his hosting last night.
