Wombats everywhere!
« on: August 24, 2006, 01:12:17 am »
My friend dropped this off to me about a half hour ago:

(The Pocket Wombat.)

From Matty. =).

Big Wombat is very happy to have another, littlier wombat to keep him company. They are cuddling together on my bed right now.

I have brought Big Wombat to school with me a few times, but since he's so big it was a little awkward. Now I'll be bringing Pocket Wombat to school with me. He seems just as brave as Big Wombat but in a more compact size.

PS: As if you guys needed any more proof that Matty is the sweetest person in the world. :P. (He's going to deny that, btw. Ehehe.)

Well, he's certainly the TALLEST. :)

Libel! Scandalous defamation of the worst kind! As an renowned Evil GeniusTM I object to being characterised as "sweet". Do you want to get me expelled from the Global League of Nastiness?

It's an native Australian animal. A kind of primitive mammal called a marsupial. It gives birth to immature young which develop in a pouch rather than the mother's uterus. The same family as kangaroos and koalas.

They're very cute.

Hi

I am surprised Matty didn't mention this particular Wombat:

He was the controversial mascot of an australian TV show during the olympics in 2000 - they almost got in trouble with the olympic comitee as Fatso became hugely popular, more in fact than the official mascots... great show too.

Fortunately, Pat I didn't forget the Battler's Prince as Fatso the Fat-Arsed Wombat was known.
