IN need of help
« on: July 26, 2008, 12:46:49 pm »
hi all
Writing in desperation,
I am in the window period after a severe non protected incident with a known positive person( i hate myself for putting myself into risk)
still dealing with the trauma. I Haven't told my wife about it and refraining from any physical contact with her since then.(i just came back from this office work only three days back). Assuming i do test positive. please assess the risk of this incident which happened earlier today

I was watching a movie and i got a erection.  and i suffer from pre mature ejaculation as well.. anyway. soon after i had to pee hard... so i went to the toilet. i couldnt control the flow and i also urinated on the toilet seat and some on my FOOT. after this i tired to wash the entire toilet without my wife suspecting anything.(washed it with detergent) for one minute
There was SEMEN in my urination as well... cause the start was very THICK...(possibly the semen that was trying to come out while i  was watching this movie. it was very hard then).
i washed the toilet a little and as fast as i could... but i dint wash the foot as my wife walked in the bathroom asking what i was upto. anway after this i came out (WITH the semen/urine still on my foot and near the ankle). i BRUISED MY ANKLE/foot on my wifes ankle/foot. with a gap of around 1 minute.  its a attached toilet bathroom. .anyway my wife began CHANGING HER PADS right away(obviously with the drapes closed)... thats the reason she came in the room for the first place. I am really scared about this as i have read that during menstruation its easy for females to catch HIV. my question is
Assuming i do turn out positive(taking the three month test in 2 weeks) Doctor told me the risk is significant

so i am sure my wife could have been put at risk here

1) while she was removing her pantie her pantie must have touched the foot part...and ALSO while wearing the new pantie and the PAD ....(the pantie touched the foot part while wearing the new ones i mean) i am sure must have touched the part where my semen/urine was present and taking it up to her menstruating area while wearing it. assuming the semen and urine did go upto her vagina.... have i put her at risk?????????
2) what happens to my semen which dint come in contact with detergent.  did it die soon enough? (all this happened within a span of 3 minutes)
3)my wife has a reddish area like bruised where the sandal strap would go from....i saw that. she always wears a tight pair. and THATS THE SAME PLACE WHICH CAME IN CONTACT WITH MY SEMEN/URINE a MINUTE later.

ALL this happened in a span of Three minutes  to Four minutes
and possibly my viral load is High is well

Whats is the risk of my wife getting the infection?

earlier she also had accidently popped my pimple which was there on my back... while i was on the bike. possbily getting some pus on her hand and then later she wiped her eyes(i was looking at her while i was driving...). is it possible for a infection to take place in this manner?
please help
thankyou in advance

I am really freaking out here... trying to goolge all possible information
Cant tell my wife... cant tell anyone what i am going thorough
Please help me

HIV in any SEMEN cannot live outside of the body, and it cannot infect someone with a bruise, so, Unless you had insertive sex (ejaculation into her vagina) with your wife, I don't think she was at any risk of HIV, besides, you don't even know if you are HIV+ yet, and the good news is, you may not be, so, relax, I hope this puts your mind at ease a little  ;D

Nino, there was no risk whatsover to your wife in the situation you have detailed. Zero. Your anxiety and guilt have no basis whatsoever in HIV science.

You haven't said what your risk was with the person you wrote about. Please give us some details of that so we can assess the situation.

Thanks.
