I won't have to water the yard for the rest of the year, apparently. It started about 4:30 this morning and was a washout by the time I left for work at 6. Hermine is doing her rain dance right  through Central Texas. Winds should be picking up within the hour.

At least Will was smart enough not to drive into the water.  A woman in Austin deliberately drove around a barricade and a police car to attempt to drive through a low water crossing.  I can't imagine what she was thinking -- and we'll never know.

Well from floods to flaps, we do run the gamut here, don't we?  

Anyway do go safe, even water that "seems" not to be deep may well be.  We have drought watches now in the northeast after alot of spring and early summer rain...But this is typically a dry season up here with lots of blue skies and lower humidity on the horizon so it looks like it will get worse before it gets better...Send some of them central Texas rains up here !!!

So are you trying to say  you have access to a classic car collection now?  I think a 1973 candy apple red Ford Pinto sold for $173,000 at Meacum Auto Auctions last month.
