Hi All:
Thanks everyone for participating in the AMG 2011 Site Preference Selection Topic Thread - that thread is focused on getting up to 3 preferred sites for AMG 2011 from members.
After we narrow the list down to 3 potential threads, we will roll into the following topic threads (some of the below mentioned are potential threads) -- Hopefully, by doing this we will be able to keep topic areas focused and get as much direct input as possible:
1) Voting on AMG 2011 Site (thread will begin October 21st)
2) Pros and Cons of Sites Being Voted On (to run concurrent with Site Voting Thread)
3) Time of Year Thread (this may be merged into one of the two aforementioned threads)
4) Hotel Selection Thread
5) Events, Activities and Ways to Leave Our Mark Thread
6) Grant Committee Information Thread
7) Arrivals / Departures Thread
Let me know if I have left anything out. Also, I PM'd Dennis (2010 Coordinator of the unofficial gathering) - he is still interested in being Coordinator, unless someone would like to be considered for the task or if anyone would like to nominate a member (who would be willing to serve as Coordinator).
As always, every member's input is welcomed and encouraged. To make everything flow as smoothly as possible, please try to post feedback, ideas and comments in the appropriate thread.
Thanks Forum Family - Here's to an AMG that will have as much of an impact on lives as the previous gatherings have had.
