I'm going on the GS-9350 clinical trial soon.

During my doctor's visit today I discussed this new Norvir "substitute" booster, GS-9350, and he's going to be running a clinical trial with it in about 4 months and I'll be able to go on it then.  I'm hoping that this will finally help arrest my decade long battle with diarrhea, or at least reduce my dependency on a daily intake of 12mg of immodium and six doses of Pancrecarb.

ps: I had a viral load blip this time of 102, but I've had that happen once previously since getting to undetectable so it's not anything I'm going to worry about.  And if anyone needs some t-cells I have 1135 of them and am willing to share :)  Oh, and my total cholesterol reading was IN RANGE.  Not to shoddy for someone who is technically classified as having AIDS.

Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom Eliquis, Diltiazem. Pravastatin 80mg, Ezetimibe. UPDATED 2/18/24
 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 UPDATED: As of April, 2nd 2024,Viral load Undetectable.
CD 4 @593 /  CD4 % @ 18 %

Lymphocytes,total-3305 (within range)

cd4/cd8 ratio -0.31

cd8 %-57

1135 Tcells?! That's awesome, congrats.......This new booster is looking very promising, too.....what is it that it will be boosting in your case?

Will be very intested to hear how you make out with the clinical trial. We're on the same meds and I'd love to flush norvir.

Hey Miss Philly,

I think its great you are going to be part of the clinical trial. I hope this new med works.

Norvir and my lipids don't mix well, so maybe I can, as Veritas said, "Flush the Norvir."

I also am jealous. My CD4s dropped into the mid 900s (959 last count) and seem unable to break the 1,000 mark.  :'(
