First Numbers

So, got my first numbers back, after diagnosis 03/06/14:
vl: 27,780
cd4: 882/33.3%

The only other abnormal result is there were a ton of rbc's that showed up in my urinalysis but I've had kidney stones for years, so they may be acting up again. kidney function, though is great.

genotype is still not back yet I don't think,  there were a few other tests that came back that I have no clue what they are or what they're used for...so I'll just let my Dr. explain those.

Another set of labs to be drawn on 3/31/14 and then next Dr.'s visit 4/14/14 at which time we're supposed to discuss meds and start treatment. 

I'm not quite sure if my focus has changed from trying to accept I am poz to being impatient about wanting to start treatment. Either way, I hate this anxiety!

I understand the anxiety and the focus part.
You move from
"it is horrible I have this" to
"how bad is it?"

You pretty much have the answer to that. With a CD4 of 882, you are looking pretty good  ;D

Once you get on treatment, you will feel better when you know you have it under control. It sounds like you are doing everything right.  :)
