Welcome to Do I Have HIV?

Welcome to the "Do I Have HIV?" POZ forum.

This special section of the POZ forum is for individuals who have concerns about whether or not they are HIV positive. Individuals are permitted to post up to three questions or responses in this forum.

Ongoing participation in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum (posting more than three questions or responses) requires a paid subscription, with secure payments made via PayPal.

A seven-day subscription is $9.99, a 30-day subscription is $14.99 and a 90-day subscription is $24.99.

Anyone who needs to post more than three messages in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum -- including past, present and future POZ Forums members -- will need to subscribe, with secure payments made via PayPal.

There is no charge to read threads in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum, nor will there be a charge for participating in any of the other POZ forums. In addition, the POZ Basics "HIV Transmission and Risks" and "HIV Testing" basics, will remain accessible to all.

got oral and i got rimmed am i at risk

hi there
first time posting here,you guys have a really great site i am reallt glad i found this site.here is what happen to me.may 7 i had someone give me un protected oral.then the person rimmed my ass for about 5 minutes pretty deep.i got kinda freaked out and i have had alot aniexty ever since then.
i went to the doctors june 8 and told her what happen.she told me i was at very little risk.but did a full std panel.everything came back negative including the hiv test.
 i have had a few weired sysmtoms since the first week of june sore throat( doctor told me it was post dasel drip and i am on medince for it now.i also had sore elbows for about 4 weeks.i deciede to take a home access kiv test on july 14.it came back negative as well.but i not sure how reaiable they are?
my doctor seems to think i am suffering from extreme anietxy.she told me your boby and mind cant take control of you if you allow it.i am doing alot better now.i think i just needed someone to take too and ask their advice on my risk and if i should test again and at what time frame?

Nothing you did put you at risk for HIV transmission in anyway whatsoever. Testing wasn't necessary for HIV and certainly not needed again.

You are HIV negative. Period.

Other STDs are much easier to acquire so we recommend that anyone who's sexually active ought to have a full STD panel done regularly -- at least once a year.

thank you for your quick replys.so my sysptoms have nothing to do with hiv?my doctor told me the same thing i do not need to retest at 13 weeks.
you guys are really providing a great service to alot of people.i have learned alot since i first visted your site a few days ago.
