Dear Members:  Three days ago I lost one of my best friends to liver failure due to AIDS complications.  He has been living in London for three years with his partner having moved from San Francisco where he lived for 20 years.

Roberto moved to the US about 25 years ago from Guatemala. He made it a point to see much of the world during his life which he did.  I had the pleasure of meeting him while I lived in Hawaii and we became kindred spirits ever since.

I will miss him as will all that knew him.  He was taken very early in life.

So to Roberto, you will live forever in my heart,

Jeff
