2013's Kill Your Darlings - sentimental cliche mixed with gripping and lurid crime drama.  Reminds me of The Talented Mr. Ripley., Another Country, and Birdy of all things....

Station covering news chopper crash shows dick pic.  The anchor has a tablet and many think he was controlling the pics shown on air.  The station has said it was the control room's fault.  They put up a food pic and then bam- dick pick.

Interesting ultra-slow motion of a dog drinking water.  I had no idea this is how they really lap up water.  I can do some tricks with my tongue, but not this.

So - a dog's ice cold wet nose has near skud-missle preciseness when honeing in on someone's inner thigh when bent over, but their tongue is just a sloppy mess. That age old question of "How did you get water clear over here in the livingroom??!" is finally answered.

Interesting, though!

He can sing sure. But I like his dance tunes more than this type of stuff.
The first song had way too much echoing filter on his mike.  Also he struggled to be in tune with the black gospel chorus, or vice versa, a little bit.  Not to mention, white soul singer with his powerful black backup singers.... not very modern, I thought... my own opinion of course.

Can't believe I've become a semi-One Direction fan.  But, their performance of "Story Of My Life" on SNL was quite good, in my opinion.  I think this live version was better than the radio release.  I know many make fun, but they can actually sing live.

Tidy, fierce tune "Drinking with the Jocks" by
Against Me!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Il7J27uMRY

I'm drinking with the jocks
I'm laughing at the faggots
Just like one of the boys
Swinging my dick in my hand

All of my life, all of my life
Just like I was one of them

Look at all of them bitches, yeah
I'm gonna fuck them all
Look at all of the pussy, yeah
Fill them up with cum

All of my life, all of my life
Wishing I was one of them

There will always be a difference
Between me and you
Between me and you

All of my life, all of my life

Devastating, darkly funny sometimes, reverse chic movie about a scrappy clever poor Swiss boy, a sort of Robin Hood, stealing from the rich in the ski resort above his town.

Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing - synced to misc concert footage

Well she's walking through the clouds
With a circus mind that's running round
Butterflies and zebras and moonbeams and fairy tales
That's all she ever thinks about
Riding with the wind.
When I'm sad, she comes to me with a thousand smiles,
She gives to me free
It's alright she says it's alright
Take anything you want from me, anything....

What happened to Ronald Reagan?  Here is a younger Reagan campaigning for Truman.  What he discusses is exactly what Dems talk about today.  Reagan talks about low wages, while companies make record profits and saying raising wages will hurt the economy.  He talks about cuts to school lunches, social security, etc.  He says how bad it would be for the country to give control to repubs.

I knew he was once a democrat, but I had no idea he was such a progressive.  Was he just playing the part then, as he did as president?

Reagan was very liberal in his early political career . Saturday night live did a bit once where Reagan was telling Nancy his liberal views and she was correcting him telling him how to think like a conservative until she rendered him into what he became .

I'm not a fan of Reagan but was not what the conservative movement of today has become by any stretch . If he were to run today on the principles of his legacy he would be rejected by the tea party set and the republican establishment in DC we see today . This is why I find it amusing that they invoke his name so often .

the swans behavior is normal. its not trying to feed the fish. its called dabbling, geese do too. my family had geese, they almost gargle water into their throats to get the food wet, slides down the neck easier. the fish are just taking advantage. is an interesting video though, shows how animals will adapt and symbiote in captivity.

geese and swan, as regal as they look, are actually evil animals to be feared. when they spread their wings, put their head low to ground and come snaking at you. they will bite like a mother, and when they get hold they twist a beak full of skin

i hated them as a child

If you enjoyed Zach,s Ricky Gravise posting then this is a Posting off Down The Line a radio show , its part off the river Mr G swims in . The last episode where the spoof phone in deals with Sexuality is packed with Brit comics who see boundaries as important things to find a successful way to smash , I do hope this works .

ed well it works in UK but they have not yet posted the one I was referring too , if it works I will when they do but there is a seven day limit , however the BBC sales might have Tapes.

Has this ever been discussed?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rCzaIcN0NI

story

A woman began to scream hysterically on an American Airlines flight bound for Tampa screaming 'God your my saviour!'

In a video posted to YouTube, the woman who was traveling from Miami to Tampa repeatedly screamed over and over leaving passengers around her deeply unsettled.

As she shouts,'God, you’re my savior! God, you’re my savior!' she flips through a magazine with one hand and taps restlessly on her cellphone with the other.

I am sure the flight attendants must be trained how best to deal with someone in a major freak out.  In the old days, someone (Cher) would have slapped her face and told her her to snap out of it and given her a bromide or a shot of whiskey.

I was once trapped on a trans-atlantic flight with someone in my school group going through her first bipolar manic experience. It actually started before we boarded in Paris but I didn't know about it, but it kicked into high gear on the flight so it was 7 hours of craycray. I was by the window, my BFF Michael was in the middle and this girl was on the aisle.

What was worse is that we were flying on Pakistan International Airline (back in the early 80's this was not a scary concept -- they had cheap JFK>Paris prices) so half of the travelers weren't sure what was going on.

When we landed they had to check her into a NYC hospital even though we still had 4 hours of bus travel left to get back to DC.

Has this ever been discussed?

Before I became ill I was a Social Worker running a Day Centre for people who had had a stay in a Psychiatric Hospital , so these occurrences where not rare. Intervention is very boring, one just attempts in the most everyday manner to get the person to tell you why they are behaving in such a way and point out its effect,s on others. See if you can learn if they have stopped taking there drugs, and contact the team at the hospital should that be necessary .

What often had the most productive effect was to talk about the fear that was around.

And them there are the times when nothing but nothing work,s .

One thing to note however violent the content was actual eruptions off physical violence to others where very very rare. In 15years I had one mild shove which my experiance should off diverted .

We were standing all alone
You were leaning in to speak to me
Acting like a mover shaker
Dancing to Madonna then you kissed me
And I think about it all the time

1976?  Disco novelty tunes weren't really my bag. Teenage, a little fey, a little preppie, and all the adults I liked the most were ex-hippies.  I had the feathered hair. Jr. varsity soccer and track.  Elton John's Captain Fantastic was 1975. Bowie's Young Americans. Station to Station was 1976. In art class we listened to Diamond Dogs still. Jethro Tull. CSNY, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Rod Stewart!, New York Dolls!?, Joni Mitchell, Bad Company, Aerosmith, but the new sound was in and older HS friends had: Roxy Music, Blondie, the Ramones, and Patti Smith!  When Donna Summer came on the car radio, my father got embarrassed and turned the station.  I didn't know I was gay yet. There were so MANY kinds of music running through the 70s and it all sounded fresh.
