Oral Sex
« on: January 25, 2008, 06:43:01 pm »
I understand that some type of barrier is recomended before performing oral sex on a women. Whether it be plastic wrap, a condom cut open or a dental dam. I am wondering what's like using a barrier? Is it cumbersome? Does it take the enjoyment out of it? Anything someone can tell me will be helpful!

hi there, um, my ID folks and the local counselor for HIV stated to me that it was up to me to decide. I am a +female and she stated that if i am receiving oral that the likelyhood of me passing it along to another person via oral sex was theoretical at most. Now having said that...I am more than happy to take what of that that i can get, ha! As for the dental damn...they game me a handful, i thought they were goofy, asked if using press n seal would work, counselor (lesbian) sad DAMMMMNNNNNNN grrrrrrllll...why didnt IIII think of that. All I could do was laugh. Of course she had NO idea why I needed some extra large condoms either, ha. Ok so I am not sure how it feels, cause the sex I have been having since texting + has been void of oral, but great for the rest! Peace, Zan

bosco,

The only reason to use a dental dam when going down on a woman would be to protect YOU from getting gonorrhea in your throat, or herpes. The gono would be unlikely to be transmitted in this way anyway.

There is NO way you'd infected a woman while giving her oral. No way. Saliva is not infectious.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Sounds like there isn't really any need to use any protection for oral on a female except to protect against other STD's. Which is good to know...since that particular activity is my very fav!
