Hi from Belgium
« on: July 04, 2013, 04:26:10 am »
It has been quite some time since I last posted and visited the site, where, in 2005 I found so many friends and support.

I have just completed my second year as a sign language interpreter, but still have 2 more to go.
Healthwise I am stable, still doing yoga.I am UD and my T-count is 75O and 34%.
In private life things couldn't be better. I have a loving, caring BF since over 2 and a half years now. What a blessing he is.

This summer I will work on cruise ships, as sort of guide/receptionist/translator.

Just wanted to let you know that I will allways remember the good times together.

love

Hey Hermie.

Nice to hear from you. I'm glad to hear your sign language is going along swimmingly.

Mike and I are sponsoring a Deaf/Blind camp in Yosemite in a couple of weeks. We've got a couple of clients from Benelux. I'm sure they will need an interpreter. Why don't you change your plans of cruising and come to Yosemite instead?  Bring your boyfriend. He can be a guide as we go a-wandering along the mountain track with knapsacks on our back.  Val-deri. Val-dera.

Hope you're having a great summer.

@ Michael ::) :):)

@ Robert : hhhh how much I would love to be there.. Yosemite park.. what a wonderful place to be.

Well, I am leaving Monday the 8th to the Nordkap and Spitsbergen, for 16 days, hen spend a week with my bf in France and then leave on another cruise to Scotland and the Shetlands....It does not really "pay" but you get 35 $ a day for expenses.
Please let me know when organizing this sort of camps... as you know I can still fly at reduced fares, so I would certainly be interested.
For the time being, I have 2 month of school vacation, July and August, until I graduate which is expected to be in June 2015.
So good to read you :)

OMG! Robert is here too!  I haven't see either of you since AMG 07 and I was just noticing today, the shirt has a misprint it says 87, not 07.  Must have known you gents for 20 years longer than originally thought.   8)  Have the best day

I see you on fb Hermie but it is great to hear you are doing so well.  Congrats on your partner, you deserve the best.  It sounds like alot of fun that you have these cruises planned, what a great way to spend your summer.  Good luck with school and your work with the deaf is a blessing.

Robert, I also see you on fb now and then, glad to see you guys will get to Yosemite.  Hope you are happy and doing well.

Ocean, we met at AMG in San Fran in '07 and you've been posting here, hope we meet again someday.

Hermie, Robert - I am fortunate to have been able to become your friends through this site.  'Till we meet again someday...........Hugs. :) :) :)

I remember all of you from AMG 07 but mostly, I remember you welcoming me to these Forums some 8 or 9 years ago.  It is good seeing you guys doing well and being healthy.  With so many AMG destinations around the world, it doesn't seem likely there will be another AMG 07 in San Francisco but we can meet here in the Forums and share it with 20,000 other members.   8)  Have the best day

Michael.

how nice to see you writing again. If you don't mind, I'd like to share our little secret with those who haven't met you yet.  Folks, Michael is Mick Jagger's look-alike but is really a rock start in his own right.

So are you back in the Redwoods or still in The City?

Life up north here is nothing but hot.

Jody....we're counting on you to bring us all to NYC one day.

Oh Robert,

I caught myself quoting Alice Cooper on the 4th of July and as punishment, I am staying in the Redwoods until I learn to quote facts from credible sources.  Every day I walk down those steps every day to jump in that water during this hot spell.  When I learn my lesson, I will go back to the city.   8)  Have the best day
Michael
