First meeting with your HIV doc, info for newbies thread?
« on: April 28, 2007, 02:45:21 pm »
Hi,

I was working on my checklist for my next visit, and browsed some threads related to doctor visits and checklists. I came across that one: http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=5059.0 and gave me the idea that it would be nice to have sticky thread in "I Just Test Poz" with something that would give the basics of what is expected during a first visit, and maybe the second visit when you get your first labs. Something called "Your first meeting with your HIV doc" or similar? Links to documents like this http://www.projinf.org/pdf/tracking.pdf for example, too.

What do you think?

Milker.

Great idea Milker!  Why don't you share it?  I know I could have used all the help I could have gotten the first time I went to see an HIV doc.  Of course, that was back in the late 80's, and I don't think they even had the internet back then.

Well i'm not the best writer, but I could share my experience with someone that would compile the different experiences and write a summary?
