« on: July 18, 2012, 08:04:42 am »
It hasnt even been a year since my actual infection (not diagnosis ) but i feel like hell ... I know HIV can be kind of an enigmatic disease with far ranging symptoms for different people but this seems kind of fast ... Im pretty healthy , well was , dont do drugs other than herb and I dont have and never really did have a lot of partners sexually ... i just dont understand how i can be progressing this fast ... is this a fairly normal thing in the law of averages ?

Hi PM,

Can you describe a bit further what you mean by falling apart?
Are you worried for your HIV progression in terms of numbers or do you have physical symptoms?

I can tell you that 8 months after my infection I was at 205 CD4 cells so yes things can progress quickly, at least by looking at the numbers.

Keep your chin up and Im sure things will get better. :)

What kind of symptoms do you have? My health sent down fast. That was when I was diagnosed. Are you on meds yet? My health improved greatly after I started meds. Everyone responds differently to the infection
