Title: Why The Silence?

I was reading some posts that were made after the '07 AMG.  There were quite a few vocal members that wanted the AMG held in a country other than the US so that they can attend and on principle.  Why is it that the only ones posting about the AMG now are US citizens and, of course, the lovely Jan from NZ?  Come on, folks, give us your input as to dates, activities, hotels, etc!

Hi David

I think most of the members who are thinking of going are waiting until the Hotel has been sorted out..this happened last year, once the hotel was booked everyone came forward and put their names down.

A lot of people don't like to committ to the AMG until they know for definite they have somewhere to book into.

So once this has been sorted out I think we will be hearing from more people..then we can start a thread about "Who will be attending"


OOPS..scrub that last sentence I just  saw there was a "Who's attending' thread up already..sorry.

To be honest David, this thread smacks of you trying to resurrect an old argument. I'm locking this thread. People will respond to the "who's attending" thread when they know what they're doing.
