So the shootings in Colorado hit way too close to home. The first one happned on the campus of Faith Bible Chapel, I have attended that church since I was 2, graduated the school there, and still attend on occasion. I live 5 min from the chruch as well. My heart goes out to the familes that lost their loved ones. It is very sad that a place of worship is no longer safe. What is wrong with society, I do not agree with religion, but lets have respect for those who choose to worship. Then the media has to bring Ted Haggard into it cause the second shooting happned at his former chruch. Let him be, and lets focus on the tragedy at hand.

Why is a place of worship more worthy than any other place?

Thank you, Rodney. :-*

That must not have made the news over here (or I just missed it). I remember hearing something about Omaha or Nebraska, but not Colorado. It used to be an American-only thing (public shootings), but I think one happened in Europe recently (Finland?).
Sad.

A house of worship is no more sacred or worthy then any other place. Just is sad that this level of dissrespect exists in society. The places that we once thought were safe truly are no longer safe. Churches, schools, hospitals...etc. Here is link to the one in Arvada...http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=82457
