Title: New Meds
Post by: Timex2006 on November 02, 2011, 07:22:43 am
Hi all, my doctor is switching my meds from Kaletra and Combivir to Isentress and Truvada because of high colesterol concerns, viral and cd4 counts have been great since regimine began in 2006. Was curious about what I should expect and just to get others thoughts and the switch and new therapy..

Forgot to ask, should I take the Truvada with the AM or PM dose based on the expieiences of those taking this combination? Thanks again

I don't think there is a correct answer to that.  I take my Truvada as part of my evening dose for absolutely no reason whatsoever.  For me, I experienced no side effects from Truvada or Isentress.

No side effects.

Some months I seem to end up taking the truvada at midday dose, others at bedtime dose.
