I was kind of hoping that Peter Staley and Tim Horn might grace us with their vocal stylings in an AMG rendition of, "I'm an ole cow hand" and The C.O.W.S. may do the doo wahs.   :D.  Have the best day

In the history of Northwood Country Club... Not one person has ever sung on key.  I have been there more than twice.  However, for those who do not need the words on a screen... Momi Starr plays piano at Russian River Resort (Triple R), takes requests and welcomes big hair, sequins and will probable be envious of the gowns.  Have the best day

First song we sing, as a group perhaps, the quintessential piano bar song: (doing Liza) "Maybe this time, I'll be lucky..."
Her finely-touched spirit had still its fine issues, though they were not widely visible. Her full nature, like that river of which Cyrus broke the strength, spent itself in channels which had no great name on the earth. But the effect of her being on those around her was incalculably diffusive: for the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.

George Eliot, Middlemarch, final paragraph

Hey Joseph,

I really don't get out much... When I moved to Guerneville, I had limits on where I could live because I had HOPWA assistance and a dog.  D&G would not place me in any listing (using HOPWA and the dog as the reason).  Russian River Realty had one unit, right behind Triple R.  5th and Mill street is commonly known as Crack City.  The unit I rented (unseen) was previously a meth lab and I was one of 3 tenants not on drugs.

On rare occasions I do go out, I'm usually with my straight friend who dates a bartender at Northwood.  I am usually introduced as "Michael, Don's gay friend with AIDS".  Since I have disclosed my status with every newspaper and radio station in Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Lake and Mendocino Counties for benefit of the Sonoma County Commission on AIDS and the RWCA reauthorization, I really don't complain because I put it in print.  I have been to the Bull Pen and Northwood a lot more often than any of the gay establishments on the river.  It isn't easy being me but, I do it well.  Have the best day
Michael
