Sorry you're here, but glad you found us. I will assume your doc did a test called a western blot, to confirm the dx. You reached out for support very quickly, which is great. You'll be able to read all the info here about what labs should be done, what they mean, etc. This will allow you to be a full participant in your care, so you'll know, or have some idea, that something your doc may say or suggest is either right, wrong, or debatable. And, you'll be able to get great support here right off the bat.
But, you're just a few days into this, so take some time, if you need to, before you jump into all the info. It can be overwhelming, especially just a few days post dx. Wishing you all the best, as you begin to navigate through all this. Stay in touch.
